Help with jetting Please!

I bought a 94 GS500E recently it needed a few things like tires and brakes front and rear as they were getting pretty thin in both. I also had to put mirrors and turn signals on it. A PO put a yoshi full exhuast on it still has the stock air box and filter in but it needs to be rejetted. I have the 40 pilots to put in the PO said that he put 140 mains in but it seems to be a bit rich. Any ideas on what would close to correct would be a big help. Thanks.

The recommendations on the Wiki are a starting point.  40 sounds good on the pilot. I have a 2009 which is a different carb.  The above links will get you going.
