Nick

A few weeks ago I misplaced my Clymer and spent about two weeks looking for it before I bought a new one.  Wouldn't you know it but as soon as the new one arrived I found the old one.
Well now I have an extra Clymer (sorry, it's the older one that's seen a greasy hand or two) that I would like to give away to someone on this forum.   So if you are interested in it post a reply to this thread, and I'll select the winner by random drawing.  The deadline to post is this coming Sunday, the 1st of August, 8:00 PM PDT.

Please only enter if you need the book and have a GS500.  Good luck to all entrants.

edit - if shipping from me to you is going to exceed around 10 dollars, that won't be included.  You can just paypal me or we'll figure it out

I see if I can find the site again, I have the file but its 75MB of pdf

The sie is no longer up but if someone has some place to except a 76MB rar file I put the file there.  Its the manual and all the fiche with all the parts of our bike.  (same ones on Rons and bike Bandit)

I did NOT read that ... I did NOT read that ....

Whatever you do, don't even think about charging for it, or John will spank!

As for myself, I wouldn't mind having a scanned copy of the Haynes manual that I already own.  It would save me a lot of work.  But I can't afford that kind of webspace, and I wouldn't be comfortbale hosting the whole manual anyway.

I know ... I'm not really one to talk.  Maybe I should delete all of the Haynes and Clymer diagrams and page fragments I've been hosting (and posting)...?

this site gives you 20 megs of FREE webspace.. maybe put it up as multiple pdf files on more than one free website you make? then put it as a stick on the forum?

I recently bought a ZX900haynes...and I am impressed... They must have a Kerry    at the editors desk... welllaid out, the difficulty level for each job,and the list of parts that can be worked on wiht the engine still in the frame. Impressive. But of course looooots of descriptive text, and relatively few pics, and the manual itself is like 2 times the factory one.
Cool.

The only color in my Haynes manual is on the front and back covers and on the wiring diagram pages.
