Free handlebar to a 500F owner...

OK I need one volunteer... cos the local moron now feels that his F needs to be all original and hence he wont try my bars on... Glad He's too stoopid to understand Gstwin.com is good for GS related info... he thinks I am out to get him... WTF... anyway...the first one to stand up... gets a free bar, Fit it, fiddle with it, and take pics... gimme feed back, anything you feel...
I prefer people I can drop off the thing, or people that will let me fit it on... I live in Charlotte NC, and next week a trip to Raleigh NC and Atlanta GA are coming up ... so let it rip...
These are non powder coated, (ok 1 is non powder another is powder coated... ) and if I come over and we fit etc, I will take the bars back, get them powder coated and send it over in a couple weeks all at my expense. The bars will fit, just how well is the question. If I come over and fit them... I'll bring 3 sets minimum... so which ever you like is yours... even if that isn't the final version I think I should make. BTW any other fiddling on your bike or other specific tips etc..., I'll do it as long as its minor while I am there.

Hey If no one else in my local area comes up... I will send you 2 pairs... you fit it on, and send 1 back... but... I might want both back if its the powder coated one... cos its not jigged... if you send both I'llsend you the production version...
However I need to see and measure things for myself... I have done this long distance thing 2 times already albeit with a 01-02 instead of 04... and I still am scratching my head... I dont want to guess... Agreed one of the biggest guesses is the 04 fairing ... but still I believe I have to see it myself.

OK I am going to take you up on this... However ... there is a twist...
I send you 2 bars at my expense... You fit, check and click and comment... then you send them both back at your expense ... I will jig and make and powder coat them and send you one in ~ 3 weeks after getting it back ...
The reason...The powder coated one I will send you is not jigged, and the jigged one is non powdercoated... I al going to go with a slightly different smaller dia tubing so after powder coating it will be the right dia as well... but I am not decided on that... .86 inch OD tubing isn't the easiest to find... 7/8th is .875 and is more common and cheaper... Depends on what the surplus guys have...

Let me know when you are going to be in Raleigh. I live about 45 min an hour south of there. You  can come down and fit them on my '04 anytime.
