Since I got the TL1000 I have been thinking about turning my recently crashed and revived GS into a more streetfighter style bike.

What I'm thinking:

Inspiration for color theme:

-matte black sheet metal and plastics maybe with  smoke gray accents.

-matte smoke Gray frame and swingarm

-buell type fly screen

-exhaust I'm not sure on.

-short signals

-twin headlights (maybe buell) Maybe mounted with one of these as a headlight bucket(if so fly screen is gone)

-some sort of lower fairing

Anybody got any suggestions, pictures for inspiration.

Just a thought for the moment, but would be a fun project to tackle.

I like.  What kind of headlights are those?

I also like this headlight fly screen combo.  Minus the clear blue color.

mine are not from buell, they're just aftermarket headlight from shin yo
fits without too much hassle, you'll have to find a way to hide your wiring though and the rpm/tach cables are in the way so i just made 2 brackets to put the headlight another 1.5 cm futher in front

anyway my bike changes by the day, so when its close to being finidhed i'll show you what i got, taking pics now makes no sence

where did you get those lights JUNDIE? any links? :thumb:

I kinda like the "brush guard" feature on the buell lights.  Wonder how hard they would be to mount.

can't find any links but its possible to get those by a dealer i guess (i got mine in germany)

regarding that brush guard, looks easy to make it yourself
