I got bored the other day and decided to try to think of a name for my GS500F. I haven't really settled on anything yet. I used to love the old movie Christine about that hideous 58 Plymouth Fury that killed all the people who touched it and was considering that, but I kinda figured it would be a bad omen, especially on something with only 2 wheels. Anyway, enough of that. What's your bike's name, everyone?

I used to refer to it as "Suzi-Blue" quite a lot but about a year or so ago a friend and I took on a project to make up a picture disc for an ex-colleague who had moved to Australia. I was given a rather large list of locations to photograph. 8)

Almost inevitably the bike started to appear in the perifery of some of the pictures up to the point where Maggie, my friend, started to look for it like in an Alfred Hitchcock movie.   :dunno:

Since then it has been "Alfie" which in a more modern movie concept rather matches my accent.  :thumb:

Prior to that was the "Wild blue Honda" and several Italian scooters "Azzuri"
Black Beemer  - F800ST.
In Cricket the testicular guard, or Box, was introduced in 1874. The helmet was introduced in 1974. Is there a message??

Taxes are Good. Millions that have been on Welfare for the last 30 years are depending on you. Also Millions that are coming over the border each year are depending on YOU.
Also taxes will fix our shitty schools and roads that have been broken for 40+ years.

You really don't get it do you???

After a year of owning my bike I finally named her about two months ago. Her name is "Claudette," and I like to say that I'm "going to go ride Claudette." It's fun.
