Quote from: JetSwing..also, is anyone planning to drive as a support vehicle?

Quote from: weazelnozeYes, I think I would really enjoy being the support vehicle. It was so much fun last time, I can't wait to do it again.

:P
Richard died in a motorcycle accident that was at no fault of his own.  We lost a good friend and good member of this board.  Though Rich may be gone, his legacy will live on here.

u shmuck.  dont u guys want me to ride this year?   :x  i guess crashing my bike prior to the ride is always an option..

RIP RICH! We'll miss you buddy!

Phaedrus

 NO, Chris that is NOT an option. Hopefully that is not an option for ANY of us  :thumb:

All razzing aside, I think we will be OK without a support vehicle. But I do think everyone should have a Plan B - roadside assistance insurance, AAA, hell..even a tool kit!  :P And as we get closer (we still have a ways to go) we should all go through a checklist to make sure we (and all of our bikes) are ready. I know I'm probably going to need new tires.

hey ya or Hagerstown MD. that's just about 10miles from the PA state line. Then we can head over on rt.64 and up 15 into harrisburg [it's just as fast with the construction through Chambersburg on I81] and + 64/15 is alot more scenic and twisty

Maryland/Virginia/West Virginia/DC/Southern People our first roun-da-view point will be Hagerstown Maryland [zip code 21740] then York PA [harrisburg is HUGE and the likely hood of finding the other GS'ers is unlikely] so ya our trip plan is Hagerstow>York>Harrisburg>Lancaster>Allentown>Camp site> unload camping junk>>group ride

I'm going to get out my maps and Rich that link you posted and see about a group ride...will report back in a few on what I come up with. 8)  I just assume the more twisty the better.....+a mix of scenic stuff and lunch stop....gas

Way to ruin it for the rest of us who haven't seen it Chris!  GOD!

So what are we gonna do for food?   I wanna roast weenies, marshmellows, and burgers etc.  but I don't know if thats realistic since we're on bikes...and by the way, we don't need alcohol to have a good time!   It's root beer in those cups guys.

Yeah I don't think we'll have any problems with getting stuff to the campsite; we can use saddlebags, cargo nets, whatever :) And if all else fails, the campsite has a general store.  :thumb:
