Quote from: pdg108Looks like Krateguy noticed the avatar. :)  If all goes according to plan I should have one of those by the time this all happens.  I figure 5 years of piling miles on the GS should earn me a ticket to hand out with you guys.   ;)

Nice choice! I would like to downsize my 955i for one of those. My Daytona is a bit of a bear on the tight tracks. Did you pre-order? If so, what color? My good friend Matt works for Triumph (Jules knows him also), this is him

http://www.triumph.co.uk/usa/2797.aspx

e-mail him if you have any questions on the bike, he ordered one for himself too, tell him Jeff from PA sent you.

Yep, I pre-ordered.  Tornado Red is the color, I just can't resist a red sport bike.  Unless some life altering event happens between now and March-April I should have it.

Wow a "in" at Triumph, maybe a test ride?  Heck... a test sit or a test see would work. :)  Yep, yep... I'm buying a bike I've never seen in person, I've checked, that's the definition of crazy.

Nice! red bikes are great looking. I love that they don't crap them up with graphics too. Yea, I do get test rides. I actually help him when he needs it with the demo truck and take the groups out on test rides.....perks!

Good luck with your new bike. Awesome choice. :thumb:

Oops.....sorry about the thread jacking folks!  :dunno:
Track days over a street ride any day!

Don't worry Krateguy, I am sure you will be forgiven - just be sure to come to the meet  :thumb:

We have what, something like 98 days before Spring? That is less than 100 lunches.  :P
Richard died in a motorcycle accident that was at no fault of his own.  We lost a good friend and good member of this board.  Though Rich may be gone, his legacy will live on here.

Havent been on this thread in a while did you guys decide on what the event is going to be for sure ? and/or the dates?  I might be interested.

weaselnoze

Phaedrus

yah, whatever we do I'm in too  :thumb: To summarize, it looks like we're basically doing a meet n' greet GS rally and camp - meet n' greet style. We'll likely do a group ride, head over to Hickory Run (check out the boulder field and what not?), we could probably take a ride to Jim Thorpe or somewhere cool in the area, hang out, BS a bit. Sandy Valley has some cool stuff at it too to occupy our interests when we're there. I'm hoping to stay for the two nights.

Believe me, we'll find things to do  :thumb:

I hope that we have at least one night where we sit on those foldable camping chairs...sitting around a fire...with beer or water bottles...just talking, laughing, roasting weenies and marshmellows...just hanging out...

I really can not wait for this trip!
