Over The Hedge was good and funny!  Nothing like a nice wholesome, family-values movie!  They don't make 'em like they used to.
The motorcycle is no longer the hobby, the skill has become the hobby.

Power does not compare to skill.  What good is power without the skill to use it?

good judgement trumps good skills every time.

300 wasn't as good as it should have been and they should have advertised it as having strong sexual content...some dipshit next to us brought his 10 year old son to a show that had plenty of rather explicit sex scenes...including one that was basically rape.  Poor taste.  The sexual content wouldn't have meant anything to me at all had it actually done something for the flick...I mean there was a 2-minute scne of some naked chick just randomly squirming around to crap-ass porn beat tunes a la the orgy scene in the second matrix flick.

The movie was beautiful from a cinimatic point of view.  I loved the over-all sepia tone and the selective coloring.  They did a wonderful job of making the Persian army seem as massive as it was...though, irl, it was even larger.  They got a bit carried away with "imaginary" beasts and giant people and stuff...I was under the impression that the movie was supposed to somewhat be based on the actual event but oh well.  I didn't go to see it for realism.

The battle of marathon would have been a better movie.
