reminds me what mine ('66) looked like when I bought it.

remember my father had an old VW squareback (thats stationwagon to most) that sposivly (sic) had a 914 engine in it. must admit, it moved will with the old slushamatic in it.

only the same engine in terms of layout-horizontaly opposed 4. internals were different, with porsche getting more hi-po stuff.




I dont see how that is MORE useful than the space he gave up under the hatch? and there's no tailgate...how are you supposed to get the bike to the track?

so did most vw's through the 914's era...1.7, 1.8 and 2 liter flat fours.  The 912 also had it, and a 1.6 IIRC.

forget a motorcycle, you couldn't get a mountain bike or road bike (bicycle) in that "bed" without taking both wheels off.  Then I'm still not even sure it would work :lol:

the first thing I thought when I saw was "Porsche-Camino!"  :mrgreen:
