Ok here's a fun little curve on geiger grade (15 miles from my place) Now I don't know how well it turned out, but look CAREFULLY at the inside lane.

Oh by the way this is a banked decreasing radius turn. One of those ones that it's easy to get carried away with. Had to go back and get a good pic of it, so I took my cage.

On the way up that one scared the HELL out of me. Hahaha, If you're ever in Reno hit me up, I'll keep ya out of trouble, LOL.

When I made it to the lookout on the GS I took this. The green dot is about where my apartment is (give or take a 1/4th mile.)

A nice pic of the valley, was a nice day, partly cloudy most of the day, but the nice cool kind of ride where you put the jacket into the backpack and just feel the breeze.

Yea, I guess that is why someone somewhere onceupon a time mentioned that you should ride the road slowly before doing it quick like. Even then someone (else!) could drop sand on the curve. I donno.. I think that would really suck to hit. The only areas around here like that are a few stop lights I hit today in the car. I thought the engine was dieing with the tump tump tump.

Yeah I didn't even think about it 'cause I had been up it so many times at a blistering pace with my past cages and never had any issues. Of course they had their weight loaded to the outside tires, at the outside of the lane. So they didn't have any weirdness to contend with. LOL

The funny thing is that coming at them they are just about invisible. Anyone who I take up that road will see (or not see as the case may be) exactly what I'm talking about. But you are right, dry run first would have been advisable. Still I wasn't going 10/10ths. Only like maybe 7/10ths at most. If I had been at 10/10 I would be down at Washoe Medical  (local hospital) right now, lol.

I have admit though I will be more careful, even on familiar roads.

Those bumps don't look so bad...if you have your suspension sorted out...you should be fine...

Those pictures are beautiful!  What a perfect day to go for a ride!  That's what I'm talking about!  I sense a Reno run in a few of years (or sooner).

Yeah they look subtle, trust me, they'll loosen your molars. LOL. Especially at around 55mph or so.
