Ladies...I need yr suggestions

I just ordered a rapid transit recon 19 tank bag yesterday. I still have to pick it up from the dealer tho since I never made it there today. I'll let ya know what I think about it when I get it.

I got a small luggage rack for the GS from my hubby for Christmas. It bolts on in replacement of the grab rail and only sticks out about 6 inches in the back.

What I do is bungee a good-sized gym bag to it. Most of the weight is on the very end of the seat, not on the rack itself, but the rack and it's side rails (along the seat) gives me something to bungee cord the bag to. 

I can fit a lot of stuff in the bag, it's like having a trunk :lol:.
I usually just jam my entire purse in there, my lunch, and a pair of shoes for work (plus a different pair of pants sometimes).

I needed more room than a tankbag would give me plus I found it distracting when I borrowed one from a friend for a day. Until I got the rack I used a backpack, but since I carry a lot it would pull real bad on my neck and was very uncomfortable.  Also would shift around sometimes when I was cornering and the movement of the weight would surprise me.

I've ridden with a backpack a few times and it TOTALLY ruined my moto-mojo...  I hated it.

My tank bag doesn't bother me...  Unless the top-half is on it...  Then it's HUGE.

Well I just called the dealer today to find  out if my tank bag was in...turns out it's on back order till mid July. So it's gonna be a while before I can tell ya what I think about it.
