I think I saw that pic on Rotten like a decade ago. My understanding is it's a failed suicide attempt. My best friend is a Phoenix firefighter and when he saw that, it was EXACTLY a failed attempt. Said he's seen that exact same think on maybe a dozen other calls, especially around Christmas. It comes from people putting guns (mostly long shotguns) up against the bottom of their chin, but they push their head back to far and just blow off their face off instead of hitting the brain. Alright, enough with the grossness.
