...knowing that it would rain.

I LOVED riding in the light rain!!!  WOOT!!!  Everyone thought I was crazy, but why can't they understand the joy of it.

I intentionally left a half hour early at 9pm and rode around for a good 45 minutes in the rain.  A couple cute girls in the car next to me at a light looked at me and smiled (they wouldn't have smiled if I didn't have my helmet on .)

Ann don't be so down on yourself man.

I'm no picture of beauty and I can still make torn off receipts and scribbled on scraps of paper rain from my pockets if I want.

Ever thought, that maybe, just maybe they were smiling at you and thought you were cute? Yeah it does happen, and yes girls are shy too. (Maybe even MORE SHY!)

Relationships don't come up and go, "Hi, I'm Jill. I'm going door to door looking for a soulmate." (Yes I jecked Dr. Phil's lame ass for that one, but it's true...)

I mean look at me (if you dare to click) , I'm not Brad Pitt (or any other chosen celebrity...)

Like I said, just chat her up, it's not like she's going to bite (unless things go VERY well.)

Circle you aren't ugly at all- I know a lot of girls who wouldn't intentionally try to hit you with their cars if they saw you riding along (without a helmet).

Here's me- http://i61.photobucket.com/albums/h55/GDunlavey/DSCF0015-1.jpg

PS I'm not really a skinhead, I just like that picture.

If you think you don't need a helmet, you probably don't

AMEN. I wish I could go back it time and tell myself to jsut suck it up and say SOMETHING to all the ladies who seemed to be interested in me, and vice versa. I just recently grew a pair of balls, and not to say I'm a player, cause I ain't, but I have quite a few options available to me that would not have been available to the me of just a year or so ago. So just suck it up and chat'em up, I can almost guarantee it won't be as bad as you think it will be.

I've learned that after a while, rejection doesn't even hurt. You get used to it. And THAT is when it starts making a big difference. As soon as you get over the fear of rejection then you're instantly more confident in yourself and your abilities, and that is what is attractive to a lady.

Since you're either a) unsuccessful or b) new to the dating game, check out this website:

www.sosuave.com

Clever, yes? Surprisingly enough, a lot of the information on that site can be quite helpful. A lot of it is crap, but it's usually OBVIOUS crap.

Not confident about yourself? Then fake it. They won't be able to tell the difference. After a while that faking will become natural and you will realize you ARE confident about yourself.

Hang out there, we may flame, but we don't hate.

My attitude is in serious need of readjustment, and I'm ok with that.

you have nice pouty lips, boy...

Only one chick digs me...I'm cool with it, though...she's my dream...

CirclesCenter

You post, we go to town.

BTW light rain = good

Torrential downpour = shitty
Rich, RIP.

makenzie71

screw that...it's all fun.  Especially with 3 times the power most of you guys are putting down.  There's a benefit to those little skinny tires you get...180's can hydroplane.  It makes it all interesting, though, and I love riding in inclement weather...do most of my riding in it, actually.

CirclesCenter

It's not that, it's when it's unexpected and it falls like little shard of glass from the sky.

Yeah then it sucks.

No jacket + 70mph + fat rain = PAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Rich, RIP.

makenzie71

cooter...take it like a man.  Tuck in close, squint, and wot.

CirclesCenter

I didn't have a lot of choice, rode like that for about 10 miles.

After that I thought I'd never feel anything ever again.

But you're the maniac making wind turbines and instead of mounting it to test it, holding it and trying to see if you can get beheaded....
Rich, RIP.

makenzie71

wooden blades that size can't do too much harm until they get about 200~150rpm...then you just sit there until it stops because the gyro effect will pull you into the rotor if you try and turn it.  Plus I didn't have anything to mount it on at the time.
