...always a consideration of my own...not a fan of the headlight, though. It's either that or one of these:

dude, Mak, thats an I4...what were you thinking (besides I4's are sexy hot)...LOL.

Really?  I wasn't aware Ducati ever put an I4 in a production bike...I'll have to do some research on that...

pantablo

well focus your research on MV, not ducati because what you posted, that picture, is an MV Agusta, not a ducati.

although now that I look at it it looks like a 998 tail and swingarm, but the Senna is all MV, baby. The MV also has a sssa.

"Senna" is a Massimo Tamburini thing...not an MV thing.  Here's a little more of what Massimo Tamburini has slapped "Senna" on...

...and we can't forget what he moved on to make after Ducati ditched for that cockhead Pierre Terblanche...

upon further research (read: google) you are right and I am wrong. I didnt know there was a ducati Senna version.

that's so not your bike...it doesn't have enough bangers...

And that rim is "iffy"...not all the 5-spokes were magnesium marchs like everyone assumes...and some of the 3-spokers were marchesini mags instead of brembo cast...unlike what everyone assumes (what I have now is a MArchesini mag that looks like the Brembo cast wheel).

A fully pimped out Hirebus would be bike for you. Stretched swing arm, lowered, everything chromed & for you to ride around in shorts, joggers & t-shirt.  :thumb:

this is in fact MY BIKE. I have marchesini 5Y spoke forged aluminum wheels on it, as of last month...

you are referring to the 998 I suppose...yeah those are nice for a 2 banger.

oh the confusionary...

Yeah I was talking about the 998R you posted...I want that rear wheel...more so if it's a mag...3-spokes = getting old.

I noticed the mags on yours...could have sworn they were an addition since I last saw a pic of your ride but couldn't remember.  Now all you need is beefier suspenders, carbon fiber body, and wavies.

Amazing difference between the stockers and new mags, huh?  A mag up front alone made my TL a completely different ride.

pantablo

already got Penske shock in back. gonna get penske fork internals sometime soon.
not interested in wave discs until I need new ones...already running DP Racing pads though-burned through the oem set already.
carbon bodywork? not for track use. friend has this bike:

too pretty. mine's a track hack so the cheapest bodywork will suffice.

yeah the wheels are amazing. quite the difference, especially at the track and especially on side to side transitions...oh man...

Because of the repair quote I just received from the damage, I might be getting a new bike.

I'm thinking CBR600rr or the R6.
What do you prefer?  This question doesn't include Pablo.

No interested in new Kawa Versys? I knows, it's a little another kind of bike, but the frame is quite similar to R6-N, the engine in pretty similar in driving sensation to GS500's one (yet a lot powerful), a useful fairing, are you such attracted by sport bikes?
I'm a little afraid of such powerful ridings, just yesterday a boy lost his like near my house going at about 140 mph into a car, slicing the front of that, and when I think it's so simple to go at such hig speed on that bikes it makes me think a lot.

only v-twin i would stick with is a duck,or a RC51 .... i seen a 90's CBR900RR (firehawk model) out run a base model 999s ( the guy on the duck use to race for ducti of newyork )  so its not like it was so much rider ... the cbr900rr only has rejet

Twins aren't made for drag racing.

I've seen a Ducati 999R outride a GSX-R1000 that was fully race prepped. The GSX-R was ridden by a 6 time AMA Superbike champion too. Oh yeah, this was at Laguna Seca in '05.

I can outride a 999 on my 600rr, even on a tight technical course because its still rider more than bike. Although they definitely lose it on the straights to me...
