Matt from Maryland here.  I am twenty five and I can't believe I am closer to 30 than I am to 20. I work for an environmental consulting firm as a project manager.  I am looking to go back to school for another degree, this time in architechture, but who knows.  I own a 1992 GS which is in the garage right now torn apart for painting.  Actually, I gotta head up there now and start working on her!  Later!

Hi, my name is Mike and I'm an alcoho... oops, wrong group.  Anyway, I have 21 years under my belt, I'm from Pewaukee, WI, attending Michigan Tech in Houghton, MI, and until August '04 I'm on co-op in Two Rivers, WI.  I'm studying Mechanical Engineering, and co-oping at a Nuclear power plant.

I've been observing this site for about a year, great info :)   My current set of two wheels is a 1965 Yamaha YG-1 (80cc, 2-stroke) that I got from my grandpa and rebuilt with my dad.  It works great for getting to classes and getting funny looks, but only goes 45mph, down a hill.  So, I hope to be trading up to something that goes a little faster.  The GS is obviously my first choice, but I'll have to see what i can afford.  I should be taking the MSF course as soon as the snow melts, Just waiting for that lady to call me back to schedule...

Dan here (gee, you couldn't guess that from the s/n, could ya?  :) )
I celbrated my 6th 21st birthday last year (that makes me 25 right now).
I'm a mechanical engineer, and an alum of Purdue University (Go Boilers!!!).
I'm in the frozen tundra of Wisconsin, waiting for the snow to melt and the roads to warm up.
Right now, I don't own a bike.  But I'm getting ready to buy a '92 GS500E.
My first love on the road are Mustangs.  (I own a '92 GT)  Although I see bikes as becoming another obsession of mine (must... go... faster!!!!)
Other hobbies are guitar, sports, and whatever else the season calls for..

Later,
Dan

hello, i've been posting on this forum for about 4 months and didn't introduce myself, but better late than never

My name is Nikola (Nick) and i am 20 years young. I was born and raised in Serbia (central europe) I came to Canada just before my 12th birthday and lived here for almost 9 years now.

My whole family was always into cars and bikes and i was too...since i was a kid i wanted a motorcycle but could never afford one...about 2 years ago i decided to get myself a nice 500 cc bike and started saving up....on december 15th 2003 i bought a '92 GS500 at night and the bike couldn't rev to 3000 rpm (what was i thinking  :dunno: ) but i decided that i waited long enough and with help from this site i could make it work like new.....so far so good

Where are you in NE OH?  I'm in Willoughby and hang out in front of the coffee shops on Erie street.  I hang out with the cruiser gang in the middle of the block mostly and the younger gang with sportbikes hangs out at the other coffee shop on the corner.  If your not too far away, ride thru some nice evening and stop for a coffee.

I've always done my own repair and maintenance work so can't reccommend any good shops here.

Hi, my name is John.

**Hi John**

And I am a GS fanatic.

I have so far put Metzler 330/550's on her, installed an alarm system, and made a ghetto windshield that didn't cost me a penny.  Go here for how I made my own

I live in Waterloo, Ontario, and loving every minute of it with my fiancee.
I've had my GS since new in 2000, and although I won't be needing her in another year or so, she has done me well :thumb:

Eng.  Love to take stuff apart, go real fast, play my guitar, but not too fast or too loud.  Fancy: philosophy (eastern and indian) tools art machines girls (but I think they're all kinda the same in their own ways...)  New to the site and GS.  First time ever registered on a message board (or chat room or whatever).  Not too computer savvy, but enough to get by.  By the way, I don't really smoke...cigarettes, anyway... :P
