DarkStarr

Hey everyone,

Been a lurker here for a while but I think I'll start to become more active..

Name is Ryan, and I ride an 07 GS500F which I picked up a few months ago.  My first bike was an 05 Honda Rebel, but I quickly felt the need to move up.

I'm from the Pittsburgh area, so if anyone lives around there, maybe we could meet up for a ride sometime.  The back roads to Erie, PA are pretty nice :)

Why'd you make the mistake of moving to MI... from england.  I guess I did it too, but I only moved from wisconsin

Anyway welcome, maybe I'll see you around in the summer.  Check out wmriders.com for some local riders

:cheers:I am Vendetta, I gotta 2006 GS500, I've been riding since March 07 (with prior ride time 15 years ago for about a year on a Kawi EX500) I almost bought another EX500 but as I was sitting on the Kawi, I noticed this sweet black and gray Suzuki for only 100bucks more and with a full fairing! :thumb:So I bought it and enjoy riding all the time, except in the snow and ice  I am a 37 year old male in Vancouver Washington enjoying the ride :icon_mrgreen:

bah, I saw "Vancouver" and got excited; then I noticed it was Washington, not British Columbia :(

Hey brian. The gstwins forum is awesome, welcome to it ! If you want to find some fun roads around tampa, hit the 'RIDES' section on tampasportbikes.com . I use the same nickname there. Keep in mind, when they say 'fast' ride, they MEAN IT.

I'm in Brandon, and get out and about when I can. See my latest thread about the Stunt Day. Love to have you over for it, should be a good time. SeductiveCycles have a pretty tight club too. They're FAST guys, but the put on well run rides if you're into groups.

Welcome to the forum !  :thumb:

Anybody in the Hampton roads area in Virginia? If so check out   OBX Speedway  Test and tune on March 1st Would be awesome to have a couple Gs's there

Rob_UK

Hi, I'm Rob, I'm 19 (20 in 7 days!) from SE London, England. I've had my gs500f for about 4 months now and loving every minuet of it!

V-John

I'm John, from Independence, KY (10 miles south of Cincinnati). I have a 2006 Suzuki V-Strom 1000 and a 1980 Suzuki GS450E. I've been thinking of getting something a little more sportier than my 450, and also as a first bike for my wife. I'm hoping the forums will help me decide on the 500. So far, the only bad thing I hear about it is cold-weather starts.

Dean here. I've already introduced myself but this thread looked more or less mandatory.

I'm 23, born in Hampshire, UK, now living in Lincolnshire. I'm an English teacher at a secondary school, drive an MGF and ride a '98 GS500e. It's my second bike - the first one was a cheapo "Huonioa" 125, a Chinese hunk of crap. It was so badly engineered you had to fight to maintain balance in even a mild breeze. After that, my GS is a dream.

I spent a few months in the US a couple of years ago. Visited friends in Nashville, and worked for a newspaper in Seattle.
Mods thus far:

14 tooth front sprocket
Complete paint job, red to black
Oxford heated grips
Fenderectomy
GSXR foot pegs

...much more to come!
