Hi all my name is Dirk and i live in Holland (Europe). I have my 1990 project GS500 since 2010.
Every year i go to the Eiffel in Germany for some nice corners. And the GS loves it there just as much as I do :D
Here a picture of the GS of last summer (right now I'm in the middle of a engine swap.

You can find the whole story of the project at the project area of this forum.

that looks F@#%N SWEET man what have you done to it??
You can run, but you'll only die tired.
If you hit it with a hammer and it doesn't fix it, you have an electrical problem

Hey everyone! My name is Stephen and I've been lurking on this forum for a couple years now. I added my 98' GS500 to the collection back in 2009 with the intention of flipping it, but "just another week" turned into "just another month" and so on........ now it's one of my favorite rides! Just wanted to thank everyone for the help they have unknowingly provided over the last few years, and hopefully I can make some useful contributions of my own now.

Hey everyone my name is Ryan, I'm 20 years old from the San Fernando Valley here in beautiful California. After getting my first job and saving up for a few months I finally was able to buy myself a 2005 GS500F. It was my only way to get into the love of riding after my parents did not want me riding a motorcycle. Took the MSF and after a few months I went down. I'm itching to ride again once I finish repairs on the GS500! It's been great!  :tongue2:

How's it going Everyone? I've been fishing around here for a couple of weeks now but have not formally introduced myself.

My name is Bart, a.k.a NicoyaStyln, and am 2 years from being 30. I live in the Tampa Bay Florida area (East Coaster).

I have only been riding for 2 years & bought my GS500F the same day I got my motorcycle endorsement as a learner bike with the intentions to sell it as soon as I got comfortable riding. So far, like I said, its been 2 years & I love riding my GS. I commute to & from work just about 365  days a year even during light/moderate rain & even at low temps of  40ishº degrees. I keep the GS well maintained & she is performing outstanding. I've test driven other 500cc, and bigger bikes but feel the GS500 & I are the perfect match.

For the past couple of months I have been modifying my GS and have learned so much from GSTWINS and all users. I appreciate everyones help, and future help as I have a few things left to do to the GS.

"Gstwins is saved on my homepage at home, work, and on my mobile"

Looking forward to using all this helpfull info & also posting updates on my projects!
