This is my GS500F 2007 with 1400 miles on it. It runs perfectly and comes with matching helemt, jacket, and gloves and a cover. It has had its dealership maintenances and has only one minor cosmetic defect that you cant even see unless you put your face next to it. I have been trying to sell her, but I am getting no bites. You go to a dealer and pay 5500 for them and then people only want to pay you 2500 to 3000 for them. So, what is it worth to you guys, cause apparently, I dont get it.

I'd say that you should atleast beable to get around $4,500 for it.  But wait till a vet around here can give you a better estimate.

I bought my 2006 GS500F with 6300 miles on it for $2500, but I got an awesome deal (the seller purposely didnt disclose an engine problem that ended up costing only $30).

In your case, I would expect to get ~ $4000-4500 with helmet included, make sure you have some nice high quality pictures that really show off the bike.

But what possible reason could you have to sell it anyways?

Well, let me first say that I love my bike. It runs amazingly, it corners like a dream and gives me the thrills all while keeping it below the speed limit. I say for the money, it is one of the best bikes anyone could buy, especially beginners.

That said, I took a new job and my salary got cut in half. More hours, no time, and since I am a nut about only doing the best for my bike, I am only going to keep spending money on it to keep it happy.

Also, can you guys not see the pictures I put up?

I bought my bike BECAUSE work is so slow and its saving me ALOT of money for not driving my truck -- though I'm getting mod-fever

So I can see them. How do I add the pics? I just pasted the link to them in between the insert image commands the site gives you.

patrickpruett

Can you see them now?

if so, which one can you see, or both?

are you hosting them somewhere, or are you putting somethinkg like "c:\pictures\mycoolgs.jpeg" as the url? because they need to be hosted.. If they are in fact hosted somewhere (myspace, photobucket, etc) it would probably be easier to provide a link

summer time rates are always higher. It will go for a very good price in my opinion. $3.5k+

If you don't need the cash that selling the bike would generate, you'll save money by keeping your GS.  Not all bikes are like this, but at 55 MPG with high reliability and low maintenance costs, the GS500 will save you money.

Adding the Helmet and gloves does nothing for the price.  :thumb: Buyers need their own helmet, a used helmet is never a good idea

I agree w/ $3500. Mainly once you ride that thing off the lot, its worth almost 1K less than whatever you bought it for
