Rejet question with non-stock exhaust

I'm going to check my valve clearance tomorrow.
I've been browsing the boards and noticed that it is recommended that you rejet your carbs if you have an aftermarket exhaust.

My GS came with non-stock exhaust. I'm not sure if it is just a slip-on or a pipe.
But I wanted to see if there is a way for me to tell if the carbs have been jetted already.
