I have been meaning to go to the HB store about 20 mins form work for a week or 2 now, i am thinking about making a light and refreshing summer ginger beer and your suggestion fit perfectly (thanks Michael) i need to pick up some yeast and other ingredients, its a nice ride long sweeping corners in the blue mountains and the weather is really good today but my fave HB store has closed down   so no ingredients for me but i have the photo so its not a total waste (if a photo of a recently close HB store is ok)

There is another store about 20 mins in the other direction so its not a total loss (for the beer) but the ride to that store is in the city and not as fun...

I have the photo but i am at work and the USB ports are disabled so i can't get the photo i took onto the computer

Mary:

Cundalini is correct. A homebrew store is a store that sells supplies to people who brew their own beer and spirits. bags of lids. Bottle wash. The "carboy" (demijohn) beer is brewed in. Yeast. Different flavor concentrates. Airlocks. Etc., etc.

Punk:

All good even if the store had now closed down. As long as we can see it is/was a home brew supply store.

Yup, you don't live in Central Florida. I think they have banned curvey roads just to piss motorcyclist off. Either that or they know the cagers are too dumb to negotiate them! Actually, I think we even had a thread asking about curvy roads LOL!

Beautiful weather but no danged good roads to ride. I get my kicks off the two rotaries we have in Kissimmee. Sad ain't it :2guns:

Sorry Mary i dont, you know now that i think about it when i live in the states i didn't see any of the signs... but i spent most of my time in the south west of the country

Next time I'm in Sydney I def want to do that run I mentioned... Penrith to Lithgow then ride along Bells Line Rd down to Kurrajong and Richmond - with a stop at The Castle along the way.

I'll get this Windy Road Sign after work today... if no-one else has gotten it by then.

Wanna know something funny/sad for the traffic light one. I just realized when cleaning the house the other day we actually had a traffic light in the living room with turn signal arrows

Hanging head in shame that my house was that messy. But in my defense I have three male roommates!

No Public trash cans Mary?

I must admit... our Public ones seem to be getting smaller and smaller now-a-days... IF you can find them at all.

Traffic Light would only work if you could Illuminate the signal. But like An said/asked.... WHY & HOW did you come to have That? And just sitting on the living room?

Yes, I am keeping the list updated now as Each challenge is completed - the updated list is linked to im my sig file. No, we didn't have a Shrine - but - we did have a Military/Veterans memorial. However, a Shrine doesn't necessarily have to be military in nature... could be religious or memorial or commemorative in nature of person or event.

Next Challenge: Your bike with a Shade Sail. That is, a sail shaped fabric stretched out to provide shade, as seen in shopping center carparks, daycare center play areas, some swing sets at public parks, some car yards, pool stores, etc. Like these...

Hmmm... another easy one if you live in the Southern Hemisphere... or anywhere with enough sunshine to need the shade.  That rules out Scotland and most of GB / Canada / Northern Europe during winter... and most of summer too.

Nah... just means you've got to look harder. Such as directly from the manufacturer... http://www.shadesails.co.uk or maybe something here will spark something http://www.hotfroguk.co.uk/Products/shade-sails

Nah Michael, it really is that unlikely to find a sail-shade in Scotland.  No easier than finding a Honda CRX and a Dodge Challenger SRT-8 parked next to each other in a cul-de-sac with the Titanic sailing in the background!

Lots of car dealerships use those around here, maybe in Scotland too?
