Lil Suzi just ticked over 10,000 miles from new   :woohoo:  the other day (bought her last June on an '07 model clear-out)!  She's perfect for my daily commute, and I'm really digging her - she's so right for the kind of riding I do.  She's been trouble-free and always willing (OK... she wasn't too thrilled at 17 degrees... and neither were my fingers.... but she soldiered on).

I've been eyeing a Triumph Street Triple or Aprilia Shiver... but when it comes right down to it... I'm so glad I've got a GS 500.  I can thank Lil Suzi for the fact that I still have my license.  I'm not so sure that would still be true if I had the Triumph or Aprilia  :icon_mrgreen:

Cheers to all fellow GS'ers out there!  This is a great site!

Be safe out there!

Congrats my friend, and welcome.  You ride a lot.  I like that.  Don't get lulled into a false sense of security though.. the GS is still plenty fast enough to lose your license.. or your life.  Ride safe, watch out for those damn deer and the lady in the minivan on the phone.. you know.. the one who's about to turn in front of you!  :2guns:
