Hi, is there any spec for rider weight and spring rate? Whats your weight? I am 150 pound.  Do you only sell it because it feels too stiff for you?

.85 would be really stiff for a 150 lb rider. That's my opinion at least.

Stock spring is 0.60 kg/mm. 

The suspension guru at nestreetriders.com suggests 1.0kg/mm for a 230lb guy (650-670lb bike/rider)

So for a 150 lb guy that would be a 580lb bike+rider. (fully geared up)

580/660*1.0kg/mm= .88 kg/mm

I don't know. I DO know that when I doubled the suspension rate on my old race car but kept stock ride height, it wasn't objectionable.

I wonder what the damping situation is like?

I think I still want the .85kg/mm springs and should trade. I am 195 with gear?

I'm 165-170 and it's ok, but I think it's a little stiff for me. Ideally, I think I should upgrade the stock rear shock to keep up with the front.

Yes, I still plan to sell the bike, but I will put the stock springs back in. I will buy another GS500 and put in the racetech. The .85kg racetech springs are still available for purchase.

I might try the .80s this weekend unless I have a reason not to.

I use .85 on street and track and am probably 210+ with full gear. I'm super happy with them. I think Sonic's website recommended ~.9 for me, Racetech a .85, and I like to err on the side of a little soft. Use their calculators, no reason to guess.

I am not into trading anymore, as I want something stiffer and have gotten it. But I have NIB .80kg/mm for you, I think I told you $72 shipped before. Which is what I paid so I am losing shipping.
