Wreck my back being dumb

So 2 weekends ago i beefed up the kids manco 4.5 horse mini bike. Took her out to the drag races and during a rain break i took the mini bike out with my bro-innlaw to a small banked circle track at the end of the strip. Zak was on the go cart and cut in front of me on the inside of the track. I had about a case of buds in me and thought i would be slick and cut in the middle of the track to the other side. I was at top speed which is like 40 mph now and realized i could not make it between the tractor tires in the middle of the track before it was to late. Then slam i ran straight into a large tractor tire flipping over the handle bars and tire landing on the pavement. It hurt my pride more than the mini bike! Anyways had a MRI a day ago and just got the results back! I now have 2 slipped discs (herniated) in my L4 and L5 of my lumbar support. oocchh! it hurts like hell!!!!!

Worst part was explaining to the doctor that it happened on a mini bike!

, im tryin to finance a few days off so i can rest my body a bit. goin somewhere that involved a plane ticket

so im nowhere near anythign involving work ( thinkin fla or somewhere near the ocean. is cheaper for me to fly, found a round trip ticket for 69

I do fairly well with my two herniated disc! My L5 is toast and my S1 or L6 whatever they want to call it on any given day. For me trigger point injections work wonders. I get them about once to every other month! I'm due up soon we've been focusing on the shoulder. Stupid road debris not only did it seperate my shoulder but she thinks I managed to tear my rotator cuff. There goes my pitching career dang!

I will never ever get another epidural cortisone injection! OMG that was the single worst experience of my life! As you know I've had a lot of bad experiences. Let's put it this way I'd rather go through another cardiac arrest (as long as I'm shocked back that is) than go through the complications of this. My PM doc thought it would be a good idea. Since, I'd been having the trigger point injections I figured a little deeper wouldn't be that big of a deal. OMG I was WRONG! It hurt but initially wasn't that bad. I had the procedure done on a Friday afternoon. Late Friday night Saturday morning I get this God awful headache felt like I was going to explode from the pressure! I stayed in bed not moving all of Saturday and Sunday. Everytime I'd lift my head the pressure would get worse and everything would spin!

Monday rolled around and my best friend took me to my pain management do to find out what in the hell was going on. Seems like I got the very rare CSF leak! So, I would have to go back to the outpatient clinic to have them do a blood patch. It is supposed to be very straight forward but as I have come to find out in my life nothing ever is. When I get there the surgeon who did it was not there. Great! Well, they try to draw my blood cause it is needed for the patch. They stick me 12 times but could not get the blood out. Finally, the surgeon had to go in my neck to get the two syringes of blood. He didn't know exactly where the other guy had gone. So, I'm so dizzy I can't see straight I have to sit hunched over so that my vertabrea are stretched out and he starts stabbing me in the back with this massive needle 14 gauge! Next door is this 12 y/o kid with a hurt pinky and she is screaming bloody murder! No one is touching her and her parents keep babying her as soon as she is quite they stop hugging her and then she screams like a sonic death ray. For some reason between the stabbing and the sonic death ray I felt like I was the first victim in a B-rated horror flick! They had to call my best friend back to hold me up because I had passed out from the pain. Finally, the patch took and after about two days my headache finally subsided.

You couldn't pay me to go through that again!
