I'm confused. Is it Sat, July 11th or Sun, July 12th?

Unfortunately, I can't go either way   but thought other folks might be interested and similarly confused...

I haven't ridden my bike in almost a year, since the Vespa drilled me into the pavement >:(
I'm all healed up,  Except my toothless smile :embarrassed:  Just haven't had any urge to ride.
That, and spending every spare moment working on my boat :)

But, I'm game for a get together :thumb:
Just settle on a date :dunno_black:

pandy

Glad to hear you're healed up, Bob!  :kiss3:

Bump for a date! Er....riding date....er.....riding.....uhm.....hmm.... BUMP for a BAGS date!  :icon_lol: :icon_mrgreen:

You're a hearty soul, Bob. Just the THOUGHT of all that heat makes me want to faint. ;)

Now....if I were rich and could afford the A/C'd, VIP, pampered-princess section, I'd be so there!  :icon_rolleyes:

Any way we can combine rides? I know this is a long one, but it goes toward Bob's, and it's a GORGEOUS ride:

http://www.southbayriders.com/forums/showthread.php?t=79861

Tyler was in a horrific accident (run over by a big rig). She just was transferred from an Idaho trauma center back home here to SCVMC. We escorted the ambulance from the airport to the hospital yesterday (pics here: http://www.southbayriders.com/forums/showthread.php?t=80251 ).

I'm meeting a couple of riders in Belmont, then we're hooking up with a lot of other riders in Los Gatos, and then we're hooking up with still MORE riders in Capitola, and then we're hooking up with the rest of the riders at Moss Landing.

(And no worries, scratch, if you don't want the ride to be this long, but it would be so majorly cool if we could combine!)

Ok, so you're hitting Moss Landing around 10 am?

I'm not the type for large group rides, to be honest.
I tend to let loose whenever I feel like it. And don't want to be restrained by the group.
Or bring any heat down on it if I screw up :icon_mrgreen:
But I could check in and see how it goes,  :dunno_black:
Once we get south of Carmel I'll be scooten though.
I'll stop at the River Inn and probably head back after that.

Whadya think scratcheroo :D

pandy

I might have a few BARF friends coming along. What we tend to do is form our own group when the larger group is broken down into smaller groups.  :icon_mrgreen:

Whats up everyone? Just checking in, and it's cool to see some familiar names and faces still around.

Life's been crazy for me since I left the south bay and am getting the itch back to ride more often. It's also made it difficult for me to keep in touch with the old GS family. I still have the GS but one of my friends is letting me hold onto, and ride, his Duc Monster M750 while I save some money up. Unfortunately I'll be out of town until the 18th (leaving Thursday morning) and i still need to rebuild that silly fuel pump. Vacuum diaphragm ruptured so it's dumping fuel into the rear cylinder.

As always, my photobucket has the recent photos of my projects and hobbies and you all can reach me at ayates128 (at) gmail.com

I did a big no-no taking on 2 projects, one of my solid axle conversion Toyota and my 240Z. The Z was too much to pass on so I caved. I have a decent 110volt Lincoln Mig welder now to play with if anyone needs some welding help. I also have access to a 300 amp super mondo Lincoln at my friend's shop in Oakland

scratch, I was looking through some old pics from the Cycle World shows and found some of us being goofy on a Ruckus and some Hawaii print scooters... good times good times
Andy

scratch

Hey Andy!  Long time indeed!

Bob, Pandy, I'm totally down to ride that ride.

Oh, and Bob, I didn't know the pipe you gave me was drilled.  I started laughing when I started the bike this morning.  It sure does look better, though.  Thanks.  :)
