So will those CBR900 rear pegs fit the GS500?

So if I have understand correctly the website (sorry for my english) CBR900 rear pegs can be put on the GS500 front and passenger (but you have to shrim them a bit).

So are those okay for my GS500?

@ Joelmath - Nice, I like the ones in the link you have better.  How long have you had them and was the install hard..and how do you like them?

I absolutely love them! They feel 100 times better. The install was pretty easy. I put them in a vise (with a rag to avoid scratches) and used a Dremel to grind the notch out. And $28 for all 4 to my door? Couldn't be happier with this mod. Big thanks to the Wiki for that one. I probably never would have thought of that.

Oh, and I've had them for about 5 months.

Thanks for the info.  I just bought a set of 4 ... and your right, for 28 bucks shipped, you cant beat that with a stick!!  So in a week or so I'll post how they went.  I'm pretty excited, I've wanted to get rid of the stock tree trunk pegs for some time.

2 years after I can tell you they don't fit 


















Just kidding   they fit, all you need to do is to grind a bit of them (took me 5 minutes) and you need to expend the hole (very easy, put the screw in it and slam it against a wall)
