I really like white bikes, but they've gotta be done just right, otherwise it looks like someone bought some new primered bodywork and didn't finish painting it.

Really, are you color blind?

No, not color blind. Actually I know enough to look at the year... do you? The GS is the same in the US and Canada other than gauges.

One is the 09 color and the one you say is "Canadian" is the 2010 color  :thumb:

The colors for all 2010 GS500F are Blue/White and Black/Gray as shown at Global Suzuki site:

http://www.globalsuzuki.com/motorcycle/moto/street/gs500f/99999-A0118-1L1.pdf

The only color for the 2010 GS500 naked model is Gray:

http://www.globalsuzuki.com/motorcycle/moto/street/gs500/99999-A0103-1L1.pdf

The Suzuki Canada site is showing a 2010 Blue/White GS500F with carry over 2009 GS500 naked models.

The US Suzuki site so far is only showing new RM-Z450, RM-Z250, RMX450Z, and GZ250 models for 2010 and the current rumor is there will not be much else imported to the US in 2010 since there are so many unsold 2009, 2008, and 2007 models left over.  Time will tell.

So what your saying is in the US we are getting the one with the white tank for 2010?

EDIT: This is the bike that was at the 2010 International Motorcycle Show in Seattle last week, I assumed it was a 2010 US model (same color as 09). This is why seeing the white tanked GS500F at the Canadian site was so interesting to me.

from the picture above I can conclude that there was not much interest in GS500  ;) hehe

Sales were down for all Suzuki models over the last few years and there are hugh supplies of 2009, 2008, and 2007 models still available.  There will be very little in the way of 2010 Suzuki bikes available in the US.  The GS500 is becoming a 3rd world bike since tight EU regs have already removed it from the EU market.   :icon_sad:

That Blue/White 2009 GS500F is what I expect to see at the big Cycle World bike show here in Cleveland at the end of Jan along with many other left over 09 Suzuki models.

Currently available 2009 Suzuki models:

Currently available 2008 models:

Don't buy a new Suzuki now without getting a real good deal!

Actually I had to wait a few minutes to get a clear shot of it with nobody around, whoever was by it just left when I took that photo  :thumb:

It must be the MPG and price tag that is so appealing to the customers then  ;)

I like the MPG's but the price has gotten pretty steep considering what you could buy for $1k more or the same price used.

I just bought my 09 GS500F for right at 4k out the door.  I couldn't be more happy with it.  It was the only new one I could find in SoCal.  I am surprised that there aren't more out there.  But when I was doing research on a good starter bike this one popped up.  Maybe it's being touted more as a starter bike then a good "commuter" bike like I think it is and what I bought it for.  I have the blue/white w/blue tank.  I have to admit I like it with the fairings better than the older brothers of the 500E and such.

LOL, I thought the same thing... that's why I replaced my white 04 tail with blue 05 tail... now just need to find a blue 08 front fender, and I'll be all set :).
