Checked my friends valves on his 04, first time for both of us and all went pretty smoothly. We did leave the rag in the oil galley and didn't realize til final check before starting  haha all was well, exhaust valves were pretty tight though. loosened everything up, then had to reset idle as it had jumped from 1200 to 3k after valve adjustment.

Then got a little bit of time to work on my project bike!

Dropped the drz on friday. bike's ok, my shoulders a bit sore still, but my gear really saved me!

Good weekend, learned a lot(riding and wrenching)
if yer binders ain't squeakin, you ain't tweakin!

I recognize the Gimbel seat. Inspired by Phenix's? There were older pictures of it on Junior before I settled on the Gimbel full rear tail for him. These are nice seats.

Begun, the paint work has. First layer of bondo done, another one tomorrow hopefully in between classes...
When in doubt, empty the magazine.

i changed the oil yesterday, and am astonished at how much better the bike feels with fresh yamalube in it.  last time i changed it with regular penzoil 12w-40.  now it feels like a new machine!  the engine revs more smooth, it sounds better, the clutch feels better and the shifts are a lot more smooth.  amazing stuff that yamalube is.

So..... that also explains why you need a piece of fairing. Tell us the whole store, please. I like watching "Worlds dumbest drivers". Would this story qualify?

VERY EASY INSTALL
Item number : 260836170610
Or search for 99 06 07 08 09 SUZUKI GSXR1300 HAYABUSA rear Foot Peg
Small amount of grinding of bottom edge to fit (5 minutes work) rounding the bottom edge and taking some off to lower slightly)
Use small washers to either site of peg to fit better and use existing pin etc. see wiki I think there is a write up about it.

Different pegs but same installation http://wiki.gstwins.com/index.php?n=Upgrades.Pegs

In the end the most important piece of safety gear is the thing you put inside your helmet.

Experts needed!

I took off oil pan and oil filter of Junior's engine. probed more with the spy cam. made some very interesting discoveries that leads me to a different cause of the problem - which makes no sense.

How could an engine idle fine and run if a piston is damaged? is that even possible?

PLEASE see updated photos in my "Junior Died" thread in the build section.
