One thing these fools have not got into their thick skulls ... other than the fact that they are not metal magicians and their garbage aint worth squat ... turning heads is almost always bad if it is in general populace. Most of the population doesn't know one bike from another. They will glaze over most of it ... park a Duc 916 next to a GS500 and 99% of the people cant tell the difference after walking past ... however park one of these stretched and slammed Green painted Busa's and they instantly know someone been ducking wiht it a lot. They think it must have cost a lot of $ and they do look at it, they know its out of the normal ...

Throw in a ratty a$$ "bopper" in the mix and they definetly know someone has been shopping for bike parts @ the scrap heap and know he dont have the scratch to build that busa, or he would have.

Turning heads is a good way to tell people you have more $$$ than common sense ... or neither.

How many companies build Harley engine clones? And how many go out of business within two or three years?

How many people boast or whine or guilt-trip in their Craigslist ad about how much money they spent in new parts?

At least he didn't whip out the "My loss is your gain" line.

I don't know about y'all but I always try and throw in a free used firearm with every purchase of a vehicle with no title. What could possibly go wrong?

I think the purpose is to fool the automated software that spammers use to gather phone numbers from CL ads.

OK that is stupid, how many spam calls have I got ? I am on CL a lot, atleast 10 ads and I never have got a single spam call.
In fact I dont have an email address even one that is anonymised, so I have to be called or texted and I dont get any spam email or call.

Buddha probably won't mind unless you try and turn an insane profit when you're done with it. If you do I think you're obligated to post your ad on here for all of us to give an opinion.

hey buddha check this master piece out...

http://charleston.craigslist.org/mcy/2672774405.html

He forgot: "the kickstand is not included or needed, the bike rests on the mufflers"

My biggest issue is the asking price and lack of title. With no title, it is basically a bunch of parts bolted together. And I'm not seeing $2500 worth of parts in those pics.......
83 GR650 (riding / rolling project)

It's opener there in the wide open air...

The Buddha

That is shockingly crappy. WTF it is fuggggly.

Baltimore: KZ650's dont have any real value ... cut em, chop em whatever ... meeeh. Buy em cheap ride em do what you want and sell em cheap is the accepted wisdom on it. Even the hardcore KZ guys would do that, so meeeh. The shock value of this one is in 1. The price, 2. How crappy it looks, and 3. No title and 2500 WTF, Of course who would steal a KZ650 ... so its prolly not stolen ... but 2500 WTF.

Cool.
