Mine is $62.00 per year for me and a passenger. Not comprhensive though. Dont think anyone would steal a gs in norman oklahoma.

vtlion

$75/year for Liability.

I think I was quoted about $350 for Comp with a $500 deductible.  Why bother?  The bikes book value is only about $1500.

okay, i think i'm getting screwed without KY here.  I think i pay something like 1,000 a year.  granted i have 3-4 tickets and a "chargable accident" within the past 3 years, but everyone else seems to be more than half that.  what gives?  btw, i'm with progressive.

pizzleboy

tickets and accident put just slightly above the devil in the eyes on insurance compnies.

Mine was $220/year for full coverage with one ticket on my '01 model.

dgyver

Mine is $0  :)

....but seriously, $1000 per year??? Crap, my TLR is around $450/year for liability with Allstate. Progressive has had some of the highest rates that I have seen.
Common sense in not very common.

I'm paying ~$300 a year for a good amount of liability coverage and theft from State Farm (29, single, no tickets, no accidents, etc.).  Although my agent has been real good to my family for years, especially when accidents happen, and I'd keep my car on the plan, next year I'll be shopping around for insurance on my bike.  It's not like I'll be waiting for the insurance company to pay to fix my bike or medical when I get injured, cause that's not covered!

Insurance really really sucks on Long Island.  Someone needs to remove a million or so people from here and life would be so much better!  :guns:  Damn, out of ammo  :P

$50 per year.  Added onto my existing AAA car insurance.

$220/yr for $30,000 personal injury and 100,000/300,000 coverages.  No comp or collision.  21, No tickets, one car/deer accident.  Im with Progressive through a company called First Financial Net out of Detroit.  Their rates were 1/2 of the cost of Progressive's online rates.

Lerxst

$500/yr CDN for an '89

Bike valued at $1000, $500 deductible, $1,000,000 third party.

For Comparison...

Buddy 2 pays $2200 for his 2003 Honda CBR600RR
I broke it... I bought it...

Rich500

$650.00 CDN/year for my '02. $500.00 deductable, full coverage.

I am paying about $750 and going up all the time.  I am 34 yrs old, married, professional and have not had a ticket in over 10 years.

Next season I am going to drop the collision to save some $$$ because I hope to get my second bike on the road too.

Are you under 25? Or worse, 21? The biggest drop will come when you turn 25 - and then when the points start dropping. You're a high risk with accidents and moving violations - and a young age just seals it.

cozy

I'm 33 and i pay $79 for liability only. Since I have a full time sweetie, i purchased permanent life insurance to the tune of $600 per year - but that gets paid back in the benefit if i go before 100 years old. If you're gonna ride and have bills to pay, it's really a good idea to get life ins if you can.  ;)
