I just got my 04 a couple of weeks ago so i am still learning what it needs and riding it regularly. sunny and 70+ today so will be polishing it up and riding a bit. just got my 93 Geo convertible running so that is distracting me a bit. but winters are mild in the desert southwest, so i will be using it year round.

I'm struggling with a deeply neglected new-to-me bike here. The work is going pretty smooth, but I'm doing a whole lot of waiting for parts, tools and money. Most of the issues I have can be answered using the search function built into this forum or the wiki. Almost everything has happened to somebody, somewhere before. As I steadily work through my issues I don't see a need to double post. Wouldn't want to wear out my welcome before I come up with an original problem worthy of the elders' attention. :D

Sometimes finding the exact problem is the hardest part. so many are similar or worded differently. try the search, and if you don't find it, ask. it cant hurt to ask. this is a good forum with a bunch of great guys, don't worry about asking your question.

I'm in NH so the bikes are put up for the long cold winter.
The gs500 project I have ongoing will continue thru the winter though, a friend of mine has a nice heated shop and is letting me continue. (with his help and expertise)

Still sitting in the backyard under a cover... Haven't had time to try to fix the gs (although once i fix it I am going to probably sell it). Been riding the katana as much as possible tho.

Finally got it back from the shop after 2 months...new gas tank, petcock, fuel lines, and carbs cleaned.  Ride it daily around town.  Beautiful riding weather right now in Florida.

Too busy working..

but i will hopefully get 1 or 2 solid rides in before the snow starts. then its time to finish bolting all my new parts on, start painting, and get this thing cleaned up! i'll ride it here and there through to winter

found a no titled 2006 gsF with ~200miles on it, will hopefully be going to pick it up and make it my track bike

snowboard season starts this weekend! so the moto might slide a bit closer to the back burner, but she'll still get some attention.

Been riding for a year and found it really depressing to winterize that first winter.  I'm riding as much as the weather permits (dry and above freezing).  I'm sure I'll eventually have to put it up, but I vow to be stubborn this year.

Steadily riding.  Very few original thoughts for new topics.  Heated hand grips cause all the blood to flow from my brain.

Haha, it is a sorority girl's pink scooter that lives in my complex.  I'll try to get a pic tomorrow in the daylight.

I ride a couple of times per week and lurk daily in the web site. Wish it was the other way around.

While I Don't have my GS500 yet, I read and occasionally post on this site. I normally ride my Ninja 250 year around. However it's down at the moment while I do a engine/tranny replacement due to transmission problems. Arrggg... Anyhow, I've now got the "new to me" engine/tranny installed, added oil and coolant but it's not starting yet. So I'm still troubleshooting.

Steady riding.  I've only had my GSF for a year - picked it up from a friend.  It's my daily driver to work - put about 7K miles on it so far.  I don't post much but check the board often.  I use search a lot and really most of the common questions and issues have been asked and answered.  Maybe why there aren't a lot of new posts, but I bet a lot of people use the board as a resource for maintaining their bikes.

Well, since my bike is actually more of an CBR than GS now (hint: Projects/Builds section), there's no technical/mechanical reason to hang around here, but I got used to good reads and lot's of interesting stuff on this board, so I still check it out daily...

Ah yes, riding every day to/from work, and for the weekends, out of town 100-200 kms in any direction.

I plan to ride as much as I can this winter, but the 80 mile round trip commute through the mountains of Northern VA get a little chilly.  I do plan to pull the GS out of rotation for a couple of months to install some upgrades and then put it back in while I pull down the Kawi for a new paint job (currently pink and purple)  originally it was Blue and Red (dang sun!!!)
