Which do I want? Should I take the mystery box or the Best Buy gift card? The mystery box could be anything - even a best buy gift card, or a boat!

Oh my god, its a bunch of paper. Lois will be so pissed. Well that's what you get for taking the mystery box.

No, oh, wait. There's something in there. It feels all hard and dirty. Oooh. Dang. Not another "E" fairing? Giggidy.

Hahaha.  That was my first thought before I even read the thread.  I was preparing an awesome comment, but Adi beat me to it!   :flipoff:

Also, nice find!  Can't wait to see what it looks like on the bike.   :thumb:

Is that a TCP fairing?

Everyone got a free boat and Peter took the "mystery box".

I believe TCP made them for Suzuki. I have a red/black one from 1994 OEM that's new, in the original box and a couple small boxes of parts are labeled TCP.

This used teal colored one needs a good cleaning. Some slight road rash. The black trim along the edge of the side pieces is missing. There should be lots of different rubber edgings that can be put on.

Hey all you members in Germany and the UK: Want to make a bunch of money? Buy these cool parts we can't get in the USA and sell them to us. There are lots of parts available - unfortunately most ebay sellers over there will not ship to the USA.

I was lucky this dealer shipped it from Germany for only 50 euros. I think I've seen a total of 2 complete fairings on ebay.de or enay.co.uk in the past 2 years. The other one went really cheap - like 99 euros but seller would not ship to North America.

I'm anxious to put on the teal fairing or the red/black on a bike. Think Junior would look cool with this fairing?

would be interesting i must admit. or find a seller and a friend in wherever in euroland.  if seller wont ship to you, you pay for item, seller ships to friend in euro. he in turn ships it to you

DAMN that is sexy!

For your viewing pleasure:

A little different style under the headlight and on the engine cover (maybe they had one for the "E" and one for the "F"?  :dunno_black: ) but the same brand:

Regardless, sexy as hell.  Can't wait to see them on your bike(s)!

If you decide to part with one of them (or come across another deal), let me know.  I'd love to go that route on mine.  It would look soooo good in white (possibly with orange accents)..

Looks like this is the front fairing off of the red bike I posted:

Are you wanting an "E" fairing or a NOS 1989 clip on set?

As I have the last 3 OEM sets of NOS 1989 clip on parts in existence (as far as I know), I'm really considering making a 1989 handlebar setup and putting it in a display case. I do not believe there are any other NOS 1989 clip on sets in the world. It would make a nice display. Has anyone ever touched a brand new 1989 clip on set?

My next goal is a NOS set of the European type 1 clip ons.

I really love searching the world for NOS parts. Believe it or not, the front wheel on Phenix, the gun metal gray 1997-2000, I found a year ago in Greece and shipped to me for a total coat of $80! (Given the Greece economy, I think they were happy with any sale!)

It is so cool to stumble on NOS parts.

I have 2 NOS white front rims (1989-1996) and could never find anyone that wanted them. Go figure?

FYI: The NOS means "New Old Stock" which are old parts that have been lost in the back room or warehouse for a long time so they are new parts, but old stock which is no longer available.

Have you ever thought of making aftermarket knock offs of the original clip on since they are so sought after?

Going to a metal casting shop would probably be cost prohibitive for a run of 20 or so.
If there were a student in a design class where costs would be low, I'd finance it as a class project.

I'd do the Euro type 1 with a few degrees more angle for better fit on new tanks. I'll start looking into this. I know CAD is so much cheaper these days than just a couple years ago.

If you could sell them at a profit it would could fund your addiction. Ebay shops are easy to set up too
