Oh, gee; Lois was so pissed I took the mystery box before. Now what? Oh, man. I wish Brian was here. He'd know what to do. Oh, I know I'm going to regret this but I'll take the mystery box again!
Oh, crap. It's from Israel. Is Mort having his relatives send me something crappy like a box of bagels?

Oh crap. another box of paper and bubble wrap. I know what to do with bubble wrap.
POP - hehehehehehe POP hehehehehehe POP hehehehehehe

Wait - there's a sticker. What could that mean? Is it the key to the lost treasure of Quahog? Or one of them foreign zip codes? Ohhhh, where's Brian when you need him?

OH     MY    GOD!
2 of them! Like brand new baby boobs still in their first training bra, never touched by Quagmire.....

WTH dude ... Y'know adidas, just do a kat FE and be done with it. The clip on's come standard if you do that. And Kat clip on's are far better than 89 GS. They feel more solid and they transmit less vibrations to your hand. They are longer and have the room needed to clear everything with the fatter kat grips. The larger and better quality fork tubes, the twin disks etc etc are just a bonus on top.

Cool.

* I don't have a vibration problem
* I LOVE the GS500.
* If I wanted a KAT front end, I'd buy a KAT
* I have a KAT setup (a couple models) of bars and triples I will be disposing of. Bars are same length as GS500 but are thinner steel. Got them to see what they're like. Got dual brake setup, too. Don't need or want.
* Oh, and  a friendly :flipoff:

Polish up that cast aluminum knuckle on your '89 and you'll feel better.

Holy crap. Just a bunch of bars - and not the kind you drink at like the Drunken Clam. Aw, crap. and its 6 of them. 3 pair. What am I going to do with these? I bet I could piss of Brian if I threw one to play fetch. When he bikes down on it and breaks his teeth off - he he he he....

Ooooohhh, maybe they fit in this thing?

Are you wanting an "E" fairing or a NOS 1989 clip on set?

As I have the last 3 OEM sets of NOS 1989 clip on parts in existence (as far as I know), I'm really considering making a 1989 handlebar setup and putting it in a display case. I do not believe there are any other NOS 1989 clip on sets in the world. It would make a nice display. Has anyone ever touched a brand new 1989 clip on set?

No, I haven't.  Why not auction-off one or two sets?  Those bars are sought after now but in twenty years they'll be worthless junk.  Strike while the iron's hot!  Don't be like my brother-in-law who kept both of his O.J. Simpson rookie cards!  I told him to sell one and keep one so he'd be covered either way the trial turned-out.  He threw away at least five grand because he didn't have the guts to pull the trigger.  Please sell them to us!!!  :bowdown:

Ooooohhhh - a new Mystery Box came today. All the way from far off Germany. Can't read the German on the invoice. What could come that far and cost only $325 including shipping?

Aaahhhh..... I guess we know what color the next bike build will be  :icon_lol:

Why do these things keep showing up on my door step?

The Buddha

WTH ... you do know a GS with all tha tnew crap is ... well still a gs right ...

Yes - but I love the GS!
When the market falls out on  liter bikes and people are clamoring for  a GS500 - I'll  be sitting pretty with all these new old stock parts  :flipoff:

I'm well stocked on tanks now. There are always great deals on  parts. i don't know why others needing tanks haven't jumped on the deals I find on flea-bhey. The tank for Phenix was a hundred bucks. Just 2 tiny dings. No rust. No one else bid on it! yet people would spend twice that to cut open a tank, seal it, weld it back up then sand & paint it.  :cookoo: There's a brand new, in the box 1993 tank on my shelf. Junior's tank was brand new old stock from Germany.

I guess I'm not just a parts whore, but a parts hoarder.

baahhahahaa funny ... wonder how many are quietly cryin onto their keyboards cos they dont have the cool NOS parts? ... onya adidas  :thumb:
