That guy has REAL problems. I hope the video was passed on to the Police. He needs help before he kills someone. Aussie or not he needs help NOW.  :nono:

Friendly fire, isn't. But it's the most accurate. Semper Fi

SAFE-T

Wouldn't last too long in some other places ~ I'd say he was damn lucky the guy he chose to go off on was as patient with him as he was.

Insert gun law argument here. :2guns: :police:
yeah that really solves a problem, escalating the level of violence.  so what happens when they have a bigger gun than you?

personally I would have just left (or not even stopped in the first place), but then that's why I ride a motorbike so I can leave via means that idiots in tin coffins cannot.  also amazing how easily you can disarm a person when you tell them they are being recorded, they know they have to either get the recorder of you (not always easy to do) or modify their behavior.

as for the driver, he really needs some help, something's not quite right upstairs.

Size of the gun doesn't matter. Whoever pulls theirs first wins. Simple as that.

You posed the question "What if the other guy has a bigger gun?" when clearly it's not who has the bigger gun. What matters is who can produce theirs the fastest.

Do you think we would be better off without guns? Do you think that it would keep criminals from committing crimes? You think there would be less murder if people couldn't get a hold of guns?

There's a huge to-do on drug control but look how many different types of drugs are readily available. Does it do any good to try to control peoples' desires? No. It is completely and utterly ineffectual. The only thing you can do is punish them when they act on them.

so if they draw a little derringer, they win against an ak47, interesting thought process, good luck with that?

sorry I don't know much about guns and really have no interest in them.  but what I do know is that they are not the solution to problems.  I know americans think otherwise and I'm not really interested in trying to convince any americans otherwise because the 2nd amendment is enshrined in the psyche of the american culture.  each to their own, but remember there is a fine line between carrying a gun and not being a criminal and the alternative.

mister

So, about the angry guy...

Rule Number 1 - they cannot be reasoned with. Guy doing the recording should have just f%&ked off and been done with it.

Story time....

I was driving along a road with broken white lines. As I am coming along I see a guy ahead on my right (we drive on the left so this means he is on a property on the other side of the road). I am looking at him sitting in hit car, facing towards his property. He glances at me then reverses back across his lane and into my lane - and - stops like that. So.... I go around him and continue on my way.

At the next intersection I am turning left and he is turning right. He needs to wait for both lanes to be clear but not me. My lane is clear and I go and then turn into the gas station. He sees me pull in so abandon's his original intention. I am out of my car, gas flap open and pump is pumping when he comes roaring in and comes to a screeching halt in front of my car. Getting out aggressively and walking towards me I change grips on the pump. I am now holding it with my left hand with the car on my left and my right hand is now free to do whatever I need it to do.

As he is coming up I am thinking.... a jab into the throat will do it if needed and have my plan already thought out. He comes up to me, the pump hose is between us. And starts yelling and screaming about the fact I overtook him when he was stopped in the middle of the road. When he was finished he said, "Well, don't you have anything to say for yourself?"

I took a step towards him, looked him square in the eyes and ever so calmly said, "You are not worthy responding to".

Holy crap. He went of his head. He took a step back, arms started flailing, more yelling, he was gonna call his mate in the police station and have my licensed removed, blah blah blah. I said "Dude, calm down mate, there was never any danger." And that set him off again. At which point my fuel had finished pumping so I put them pump back and walked in to pay.

Following me, he is still going off his head. He walks behind the counter (WTF!), grabs a pen and paper and screams that he is writing my number plate down - and he does. I ask the cashier if he is a friend of hers. She says "no" and looks quite aghast.

I pay and calmly walk out, mentally note his number plate cause I don't trust psychos and drive off puzzled by what had just transpired.

I don't recall there being a problem with guns.

Guns are not the problem. People are going to commit crimes...whether it's with a GUN or with a baseball bat. Don't you understand that? If there was NO SUCH THING as guns...people would still kill each other. I'm pretty sure people killed a lot of other people before guns came about.

You go ahead and try to draw an AK-47 faster than I can pull a derringer out of my pocket. The point is I don't care if you have a .22 and they have a .44 magnum...whoever pulls theirs first is going to win. It's not like if you pull yours...the other guy is just going to be like "Oh, it's just a derringer" and pull his out. Nobody is that stupid. Everybody is scared, at least to some degree, by guns.

I think both people in that video are idiots. You don't ever stop to argue with a madman. Seriously if someone wants to tailgate you and pull you over for a confrontation take them to a police station. Also don't get out of the car even if they block you in. Keep the window shut, take their number plate, description and call the cops. Also very obviously photograph them with your phone and once they are out of the car you then have the option to hit them with a car (while attempting escape accidentally of course) Also if you stay in the car you can kick your door into them, and then get out while they are winded and beat the crap out of them. Never fight from a disadvantage always take the high ground with club.

P.S I'd go the concealed single shot palm pistol too.

I wouldn't have gotten out of the car or rolled the window down, it's useless arguing with a road rager.

So everyone has there stories, I had a dork just about like that at 3am in the morning, I finally thought he was done following me around so I pulled into the village in to go get breakfast before going home and here comes the jerk roaring up in the parking lot(mind you this was pre cellphone days) Guy starts screaming at me to get out of the car I had the windows rolled up and the doors locked. This goes on for about 2 or 3 minutes and he had me blocked in so I couldn't pull away. Finally people come out see this and go back inside to call the PD, but before they can arrive @$$hole decides to try opening my door, that's when he got a view of the business end of of my 1911 I had in the seat beside me. He left before the cops could show up, but not before the manager got his plate number. They picked him up a couple of miles away and he got popped on DUI and possession of meth.
Why didn't you just go the whole way and buy me a f@#king Kawasaki you bastards.

Hey hey hey...hey......hey...

He gets that way sometimes. Remember where he is from: AUSTRALIA!

That's where:
* People are descendents of British prisoners
* Toilets swirl the wrong way
* FOSTERS is their beer
* They cook things on those skinny female dolls (not Ken, the other one)
* They are always upside down
* Their seasons are backwards
* Aborigines haven't learned how to build casinos like our Native Americans have.

So of course you can expect some rage from him rather than a polite "Please...."

mister

Hey Addy,

Before saying Aust is a place where people are "descendants of prisons" it pays to know a little first. Because, you know, you don't want to be picking one small subset of people and using that as some kind of description of a place. Cause, it could then be said the USA is a place where people are related to nutjobs like Marshall Applewhite, Jeffrey Dahmer, Charles Manson, Ted Bundy and so on. That while Technically, yes, there are people who are related to these people, it paints a Misleading Picture.

Fact is, very Very VERY few people in this country are descendants of prisoners. Most come from people who migrated here to make a better life for themselves - just like those who went to the USA. And of those who were prisoners... sure some were not nice people - but - a LOT were sent here (sentenced to Transportation) for such heinous crimes as stealing a loaf of bread to feed themselves.

The Abos don't need to build casinos. They get plenty of free money without gambling establishments.
