Gonna have to put up pictures first. And I really like the idea of clip ons.. If you have ridden with them installed, how are the vibrations? I've read they are worse than the stock bar but first hand testimonial is always better

I was riding with a pair of clip ons off a gsxf (42mm ID ) i made a shim on the lather to reduce the diamiter and cut a slot through the shim and clip on and drilled and tapped a pinch bolt. they sat bloody low and wind resisitance felt like it was next to F*£$ all. Vibration was pretty bad and all of the weight on your wrists in slow moving traffic was terrible but on the open straight roads they were great how ever i now have rethal bars and that i much prefer! better handling, easyer on the back and looks the muts nuts too!, recoment renthal bars over clip ons any day now i have experienced the two.
hope this helps

There's a chance the bar ends wont fit in the aluminum clip-ons. You may have to drill them out, I had to with mine I used to have.
Also, if the vibs are bad, fill the clip-ons with BB's.
By the way, where do you plan to mount you clip-ons?

The way I seen them mounted was under the top triple which seems really low to me

Yeah I used to have the ebay ones mounted above my top plate. I bought them in part to lower the bike some.
Main reason I was asking the op, is because if you mount them the traditional way, under the triple, the headlight bracket will no longer work on the E.

that's more than the whole bike is worth. get a new insurance company. or change your coverage.

Gsrideraria

Can anyone recommend a company I am currently with jevco
I am thinking to go with td 120 dollars cheaper and better coverage

Higgins13

Td was significantly higher then jevco for me. I have heard good things about State Farm!

Your bad luck is probably why your insurance is so high! haha

I have Progressive and paid 300$ for the whole year. Had my license suspended twice for a year each, couple reckless endangerment things and I am 21. It is just liability though.

Sure as hell beat the 200$ a month I was paying for my 98 Ford F150 Lariat and that was only liability also. <-- thats why I sold the truck plus the 100$ a week in gas.
