I have for you all.... A Janx Special! ..... Meaning I don't actually know what this is! ... I need help identifying it! ... Mate bought an old Toyota Hilux twincab ute/pickup .. This was in behind the seats with the jack and little toolbag thingy...

I have seen these things before ... In "old timers" garages etc.. When I used to do deceased estate clean ups and sorts for dump/auction/charity ...

Never knew what the heck they were for though!

I'll try for another pic, the thing is at mates house... it won't help too much though....the flat bar is just that .. the round rod is C shaped with the opening facing upwards in this pic..

I'll ask him for a perspective pic tho, this arvo, he is an hour away so I can't just drop in on my way past

Maybe a squeegee bracket? Though I'd expect if it was in someone's car, there would be a rubber squeegee blade installed in it. But at least that would make a bit of sense...at least in my mind.

I'm thinking... damn I bet my pap would know... maybe even my dad. He opened his garage in 1972 and to this day I've never seen anything like this down at his shop.

jdoorn yeah I kinda thought that too...!! Need a size reference in the pic cuz I thought it would hafta be a HUGE squeegee blade LOL... but yeah I mean it was in the truck so... 

I thought it was c-shaped... just wanted to be sure! But what is on the top? Looks like it would maybe attach to something else... man this is probably something that when we find out, it'll be like OMG DUHHHHHH or WHAT A GREAT IDEA lmao
