I am looking for cam caps;mine are cracked. I know they are matched to the head but I want to try it anyway.

Not to spoil it, but I honestly doubt its going to work.

If not, just replace the head. (been there, done that as well!) hahaha

The 4 caps and A-B-C-D is how they were machined originally so they get back on in the right place. Since you have caps from a different head, check each one for the best fit in each location. Ignore the letters. That will improve your chances of success.
