The last 3 or 4 posts have nothing to do with each-other. Exactly why I love this thread.

Bean soup? Not right this moment. . But. . A joke. .

Cannibal tribe captures a missionary, roasts them up and everyone gathers for the feast. .its an upmarket tribe so they have a bar also... chief asks for some rump and imported beer, witchdoctor asks for ribs and jug of craft beer, chiefs wife asks for some crispy feet and sherry, best hunter asks for shoulder and whiskey... etc etc and so forth.. last man in the village to be served and there's little left.. the cook says "little man there is only the 'things' left and because the missionary was old and unmarried it's a bit shriveled and dry.... normally you, as lowest of the village could only ask for cheapo wine. But since your serving is so poor you can ask for anything top shelf!" .. the lowly man shrugs and just asks for glass of Coke..  cook urges him to choose fine brandy or single malt whiskey but the man still just wants a glass of Coke! .. the cook shrugs and serves it up.

After the meal everyone is full and tipsy... but the lowly tribesmen is smiling and joking and chatting away the most.. chief is puzzled, shriveled 'things' and a single glass of fizzy drink don't seem like a happy dinner, so he asks the man why? .. "why only Coke?, anything you could have!?" ... the little man shrugs and replies "best meal ever! Things go better with Coke!" ...

They do seem to sound good when the throttle is cracked... definitely a nicer sound at 1/2+ throttle than the dodgy pods!

The transition from closed to part throttle is now a lot smoother too...

On a side note, I've decided I hate co-workers. Or more directly, I hate stupid coochies that can't understand "Don't f%$king touch that guy's back. Seriously, don't even look at it sideways!"

You'd think "Don't f%$king touch" would also mean don't hit, slap, punch or otherwise attack said persons back. Fraid not. Smartarse decided it'd be a crack up to whip my lower back with a cardboard tube. He "apparently" thought it was empty, which it wasn't. Camera tripods sure do collapse up nicely in cardboard tubes.

At least he got fired on the spot. Makes the pain a little easier to deal with. The oxy helps a shitload as well though. And the nurse at the hospital was pretty fuckin' cute. When I was being released, she was telling me to stay away from strenuous exercise or anything that required me to put pressure on or move my back in any sort of "rhythmic" fashion. Which was then followed with "No sex or exercise until your doctor gives you the all clear. I'm sorry. You're a clever guy, I'm sure you can work something else out."

Response? "900 ks of separation makes sex very difficult, nearing impossible; and I'm allergic to exercise. Just give me painkillers and I'll let righty know to take it easy on the spine, k?"
