Just about finalised the shed plans and got a proper start on the boxing for the concrete today at last.

Looking like 0.75 cubic metres or thereabouts now which is gonna make Concrete Taxi a little exxy... probably do it myself now I think.

More fiddling with the carbies tonight too so see how they go tomorrow...

Some say that he submitted a $20000 expense claim for some gravel

And that if he'd write a letter of condolance he would at least spell your name right.

Call it EJ.  I'll be right over!

Yeah right... It's either a Police Station or a Whore House.

Good weekend for me.  Was supposed to have a night out with the little guy.  Soon to be ex wife never shows back up.  She texts me later to say that she'll be home by the time I go to work on Monday.  Who thought a 3 hour night out with my son would end up to be the whole weekend?

Win-Win for me.

Here's another win...You take them when you can these days.

So my boss at work goes to the flea markets down on the river.  These people buy storage lockers, and sell stuff out of their trucks/vans.  A Midwestern version of storage wars, but without Brandy and Jarrod's drama.  Saturday at 6am, I truck down there to have a look-see before the crowds get there.

Need dishes, flatware, basic stuff that I cannot take with me to the new place.  Put on my gloves, and start rooting through everything.  Find a few dishes that look nice, set them aside.  Find some other stuff, and set that aside too.  Pay something like $15 for my pile-o-crap including dishes, knives, trinkets, trash, and a thingamajig.  Take it back to the car, and sift through it when I get home.

Ended up getting some high-end Italian dishes from Pier-1 Imports at $16-$25 a piece when bought new, and they were new!  I got 5 bowls, 4 medium plates, and 3 large platters.  Enough for Pork Rinds and Nachos Bel Grande.  The bowls come in handy for Cherry Garcia ice cream.

Completing the set now by bidding on some of the same model on E-Bay.  Not bad for $15 'starter set'.

Life in the west is tolerable, if a tad boring work wise.

That's a tad meloncolly. It would be starting to cool down over your way now too wouldn't it?

It is, though it can't seem to make up it's mind.

Getting reasonably cool overnight but still pretty warm during the day, though predictions I saw said supposed to be rain most of this week.
No sign of cload at the moment though.

EJ, 555-0100 through 555-0199 are reserved for fictitious use such as tv, and movies.

Remember tommy tutone...867-5309?  How many people have that number, and get Pranked?  That's why 100 '555' numbers will never be issued.

Slips, try working in Audit and Compliance.  I work idiots every day.  Just plain dumb.

I was in the meeting the other day with someone and I said, "Just hit Control+Alt+Delete".  They seriously had no idea what I was talking about.

It was then that I realized that this project was going to be a bit stressful.

along with being a watchmaker @ this shop, i also get the computers ready for sale. most of their former owners should be nowhere near a pc or even a mac. either spend hours removing porn and viruses or just spend 40 minutes running recovery.  i choose the latter option.

That there is why I don't work on PC's any more...

Got sick and tired of fixing the same people's PC's constantly because little Johnny shaZam! went and got more virii on it or started downloading porn or whatever... I kid you not that I would see the same customers two or three times in a month for exactly the same problem...

I'll stick to my infrastructure stuff now...
