And that if he'd write a letter of condolance he would at least spell your name right.

Got choc/choc chip too!! ... 2 litres .. Or is it 2.5? .. Those new taller than wider bucket thingies ... $5 a pop on special .... Very good creamy-ness level too ... Not too icy! ...

Admittedly not as rich as homer Hudson or Ben & jerry's. ... But very good for the price!! ... :thumb:

.... No point mentioning that I also added a mix of peanut m&m's and plain m&m's in with the mango lime ice cream then .....  :icon_twisted: :flipoff:

Ah...off to the coast for some warmth today. First long trip by bike...580 km from Johannesburg to durban. Ok...not exactly a westrider trip to Alaska, but a pretty good ride none-the-less. Chain retensioned and lubed, new engine oil, a full tank of gas and we're off.
And to make petegs jealous...not a cloud in sight.

Take a few pics and report back here at the end of your journey.

There are those,of us here that don't tour... Ever.  :icon_neutral:

No ride again yesterday... got to the meeting point, coming down in buckets, noone else turned up and too slippery to have any real fun... wonder if I'll be able to get out next weekend? Four day weekend this weekend, not one chance for a sunny ride... typical!  :dunno_black:

Vindicate is at it again

Read it ....  :icon_rolleyes: ... If it really is 'old mate' then I don't get the concept overall .... Is it a OCD thing where all posts must be technical and dry info and as brief as possible... To suit the preference of 1 user? ... All the 'fluff' posts should be removed and we should all just communicate in as few syllables as possible? ... Apart from flames/fights which I have previously participated in and since sworn to do my best to avoid ... Part of the reason this site IS so successful , is that we all exchange ideas, info, jokes, thoughts and friendly jibes with each other ...  :thumb: ... We are a community of what I like to think of as mates/buddies from all over the world ...

There ARE forums around that frown on anything but super-geek dry data and factual info .... Which I read sometimes to have a laugh at the users trying to out-data each other without getting too nasty..

Apparently the whole world has to be like that!  :dunno_black:

Back in jozi...1000k's + some change on my yellow lightning and some valuable lessons learnt:

1) stock saddle is NOT designed for long runs (my butt is still numb).

2) saffer trucks apparently don't have indicators.

3) do not leave your wife in charge of your toiletries bag or it WILL get left in durban...along with your camera and credit card.

4) brasso is the most amazing tar remover i've ever encountered in my life. My rims look like they're brand-new!

Will post some pics for all to see when my old man posts my camera back to me.

Yellow lightning is almost a nonagenarian! And still kicking like a mule and waking up the neighbours. :woohoo:
