It's not your usual kinda diet yamma. I've elimated at much sugar from my diet as possible. Which after 3 weeks I lost 3.8kg or 8.6 pounds roughly. Yesterday for me weigh in I gained half a kilo or 1.1 pound. Instead of losing a bunch of weight first up and plateauing out its been a steady 1 kg per week on average. As the guys said stay the course. Sunday morning here in drop bear land and its Father's Day. Which means cooked breakfast with gifts if undies and socks. Missus bought me a pair of Australian safety boots (havviannas)

How much is it Janx?

My ticket was for going through a yellow light when the kindly motorcycle mounted officer decided I had plenty of time to stop.

Of course the fact that I've been rear ended and side swiped in the last 6 months doesn't matter, and the fact that I have seen too many instances of people diving into the other lane to beat the traffic slowing for the yellow light at that particular intersection... all that means nothing! My choice to reduce my risk cost me $330 and 3 points and as it is his word against mine (and no doubt recorded by the camera on his helmet) it is pointless doing anything but paying it...

Exactly!
The government overlords have spoken. Now don't confuse the issue by trying to inject common sense, safety, or reasoning.

Lets not be foolish enough to think that fine is about your safety... Its about revenue.

I feel your frustration all the way from New stinkin' Jersey!  >:(

Revenue indeed...

You know in hindsight I get the impression that things would've been different had he not had that camera on his helmet...

I got the impression from his manner and choice of words that everything is recorded and probably some footage is reviewed regardless of necessity to make sure they're "doing the right thing"... if he gave me a warning what's to bet he'd get penalised...

The law has become the most feared animal... an ass...

the camera ... "i dont know" cos it was a fathers day pressie (the missus tends to go a bit hardcore and overboard on presents sometimes... i hinted at one for xmas originally.. as a sole present) .. and she bought it online ... but local shops retail for about $450 ish ...

the memory card was $79 .. or $69???.. from jbhifi ..

expect "uncle janxy's vlogs with cynical swearing at cagers ...... sooner or later"  ;) :icon_rolleyes:

gotta investigate a microphone for helmet .. and a lanyard (cos im paranoid about the thing falling) ... will be interested to see how much of the air hiss/static that my nolan helmet creates, to get into the microphone... i know the cameras are fairly good with noise reduction... but the nolan ISNT the quietest thing out there.... i still love it for the flip face convenience and comfort though.  :thumb:

Check engine light comes on in the cage.

Code says it's some expensive vacuum control sensor. Go to parts store. Buy sensor cleaner for $4. Clean sensor, clear code, good to go.

Now if I could only figure out where the oil is going...drinks a quart every 1000. Think it's like the GS. Lots of blowby, and gets burned through the PCV system.
Bikeless and Broke at the moment...

Now uncle janx's vlogs is something I would see check out motovlog.com janx for all the mic setup stuff u need. As for lanyard do t worry those stick on mounts are damn near impossible to get off lol
