I will be doing a HOGG VLOG tomorrow morning on a mates 1200cc Screaming Eagle Harley.
Just a ride around to see what sort of reaction I get from the local popo.
I will be riding squiddy with a fluro Jacket as well as a full face helmet so at to look as far from a OMC Bikie as I can.
Will be filming it from many angles and basically enjoying the day.
Will post a photo of the bike shortly. Have to get it off my phone. :thumb:

Ive set the cameras up on the handlebars, One facing forward and one backward as well as the drift on the helmet.
I am hoping just to have a quiet (lol) ride in the countryside without incident.

if the baffles are installed, in the pipes, ride is RELATIVELY quiet til you get up to about ohhh 85-90 then shes screamin. and the unfortunate sportster sideeffect, the vibrations match the crank and its a THOROUGH vibration. a bit past that and theyre all but gone though. ohh might get bored, you wont have to shift often. rode mine thru the dragon in 3rd.

2 rods sharing one pin. hence the potato-potato-potato sound.  easiest way to explain it is, take both elbows, join together, move in circular motion ( with hands apart, essentially that's whats going on. its one GIANT thumper. ( that fires twice. lol) one I had looked nearly identical to this one. I wished I could find my shot from the dragon, but I don't think killboy keeps archives dating from '04

Be careful Cods.
There is something addictive about those Harleys and the potato potato potato thing.
It might also be the insane low end torque.
Or the fact that their 1200cc models are rather inexpensive but still give you a good slice of the Harley pipe-dream of manhood.
Hell, You wount need a big pen!s or a fat wallet if you have one of these babys sitting in the shed.

You know.... when you aren't on for a few days and you come back and read all what you missed in one hit.... it doesn't make any more sense then reading the posts as they happen.

So.... I'm reading an ad while watching a youtube video. Seems Pizza capers is have $2 tube of Ben and Jerry's when you buy 2 large pizzas. Hmmmm..... ice cream   :icon_mrgreen:

Yes Sir,
The torque is insane :cookoo:
Bike value here is $14000 for the 08 one I was riding
Hated the ride today,
The seat was too hard, the suspension was too hard, the bike vibrated too much, The brakes were crap, the steering turn is far too wide, my ass went numb, my legs hurt, my nuts fell off, my hands hurt, the bike was insanely loud and it wore me out after 2-3 hours
Would I do it again if I had the chance?
HELL YES

why not betty doesn't work anyways. lol listen to cods as he comments on the  knütsack vibrations. as I was saying the power is nearly identical to a gixxer 750, not quite a gixxer 1k. BUT its at the opposite end of the rev range. same as a pushrod v8 versus an oHC engine. belts are rated to 200+hp. can handle a stationary tire scrubbing if you do it right, and last quite a while. :) top ends are good for 150k, lower end is good for 200k + if taken care of. oil leaks are minimal if bike is warmed up correctly. ( low tech method, if carbed, open and close throttle twice, it primes carb,  start, let idle while donning helmet and jacket, lightly touch fins, when theyre too warm to touch for more than a second, youre good to go. now, if that isn't an option, take easy for a mile or two and its same.
