Cheers CBR!! Yeah I'm over shock issues but all should be sorted now.

Left shock on the 450 rebuilt and back on the bike yesterday and the new Kat shocks arrived yesterday which I got on there last night as well.

Need to test ride both yet though...

Oooooh fancy Mr CBR!!

Test rode and washed both bikes yesterday, shocks felt good so far. Forgot to get a pic of them all clean in the driveway though...

Those actually look pretty cool for a modern bike! I find a lot now just all look the same, but those are definitely somewhat different to the rest

Got a finance quote this morning... just waiting for The Minister for War & Finance to get home from grocery shopping to see if I can get PRE-Pre Approval....

No bike avail for test ride... but have taken a MT09/FZ09 for a test ride a few years back.... so I know EXACTLY how well the power plant performs!! .... all at legal speeds obviously!!! 

These XSR are basically just cosmetic changes.... but what also drew me in was the "more upright" riding position....... yes yes I know everyone likes to tuck down on the tank and zoom.... I think they think it makes you look faster.... even the Learners tucking down at 90km/h!!!! 

Being 48 now and slightly stiff.....ummm quite stiff and somewhat inflexible in the torso.... if I lay down on the tank it's just uncomfortable!! ..... and I might have a nap!

There is a special in for factory invoice plus $1 by Yamaha at the moment... for floor stock..... they don't have an xsr900 on the floor.... that was confirmed by a mate who wandered by the other day and knows the dealer also... but.... after talking to him... he has knocked $1,100 off rrp ... included on roads AND insurance for less than normal ride away... that also includes finance application costs etc...

Dammit woman!!! Get home already!!

Only two years older than me Janxy, plenty of time left yet! I get the stiff and sore bit though! I definitely couldn't do anything more extreme than the Kat that's for sure.

Yes the Big approval was.... somewhat anticlimactic... we get along very well anyway... but I felt like a kid asking to go to a concert in another state!.... she was just... ok, so long as the payments aren't gonna give you a stress head then go for it!.....

Maybe it's Hollywood..... the movies have these too good to be true love stories... but they have big reactions too... I just live a quiet life ..... up until I hit the freeway on this potential bike anyway! Heheheeeeeh

That's quite an awesome thing actually 

Completely forgot to snap a pic of the clean Kat yesterday with the new shocks on while out for a short ride...

I have a feeling I may need to bump the preload up on the front forks now though as the shocks are definitely a little stiffer sprung than the old Koni's, and that's with no preload on the new shocks at all!

Preload bump up or damping bump up?... preload makes stiffer again!. .

Missus asked is it a fast bike... nah sweetie it's retro... just cruise along!! Lol

Definitely preload on the Kat forks, all the adjustment they got! Hopefully it gets them a little stiffer to match the rear 

No fiddling yet though, trying to finish the kitchen and dining room floor after work... with any luck all but the border to the lounge room will be done tonight and I can get a happy snap or two. Just gotta find what Bunnings have to tie the vinyl tiles in with the polished timber floor in the lounge room so we can do the last bit.

What makes me smile about it right now is that I didn't have to come home from work yesterday and keep laying more vinyl tiles 

I can get out for a ride Saturday morning now and have somewhat of a break on the weekend finally...
