Cats scratch you

WHY? Because they crap in a box and step in it. Your house stinks like ammonia and you can smell it because you live in it all day long.

My cats are neutered, and pee in 2 boxes filled with expensive clumping litter. My house does not smell like ammonia, and even real estate people have commented how nice the house smells with 4 cats.

It ain't rocket science, it's paying the fudge attention.

People freak out for no reason.

Cats - they can scratch. No biggie. Pix of the rare case just to scare us?
Litterbox and clumping litter. Scoop daily. Wash or replace box every 3 or 6 months so it is sanitary. never have an amonia problem, nor fleas or other crap and my kitties go outside, too.

Be sure cats have scratching posts and a nice kitty condo they really love.

An interesting program on Animal Planet is "My Cat from Hell". Good show. You can learn a lot about what cats want and need.

Replace litter completely every couple weeks. Clump litter -even the expensive stuff, poops out after a while.

My cats are indoor only and declawed in the front. Our last cats lived to 21, 20 and 16 (tumor got her early).
