Exhaust

I ordered what I thought to be a full slip on muffler last week and now that I have it, it's more like an exhaust tip. It's a lot smaller than a muffler (basically the size of my hand) but I do like it. I assume I'll be running basically a straight pipe. Does this need to be rejetted? Or do I just see how it runs first? Thanks.

General forum concensus says it wouldn't need a rejet, but its not a bad idea to rejet a stock GS500 in the first place.
