The Real You!

Ok, I started this on a handful of other forums so far and they usually are pretty popular, figured I'd try it here.
The first forum I was ever on was called Model98.Org, and as far as I know a member there started this originally.  It was before social media like Facebook and Myspace really took off, but still today remains a way for us forum-members to share bits of our personal life while still retaining anonymity.
No e-drama, no BS, just sharing the moments that define who you are!

How to you participate?

Just post a picture of yourself doing what it is that you do. It could be a picture of you gaming on the PC, drinking a beer with friends, working in the garage on your latest project, eating a burger for lunch, or just at your day job taking care of business.

Are there any rules?

- Well for starters, try to keep the pictures recent. We don't want to see pics of you swimming in the pool last summer, we want to see pictures of you playing bass at the local bar hosted "jam night" yesterday. Lets say try to keep the pics at most a week old.
- You must be in the picture. If you aren't in the picture, you weren't there and you weren't doing it. Cameos are preferred if you are physically working on something, but staged "show off" pics are just fine. You and your friend were riding mountain-bikes? A picture of you standing in front of your bike by the trail head works just fine.
- Discussion is fine, but try to keep it limited to simple Q&A. One picture per page and nothing but discussion defeats the purpose. On M98.O it was a standing rule that noone posted without uploading a picture, I don't think that is necessary here but the emphasis is on sharing pictures. As a poster it might be worth it to offer a brief description along with your picture.
- Absolutely NO "headshots"! We don't want to see you, we want to see you doing things! This is "The Real You", not "your face in front of a wall". Portraits and "selfies" are fine, but keep in mind the point is "Who you are," not "What you look like."
- Please refrain from obscene or otherwise offensive content. We don't want to see a picture of you on the toilet or at a KKK rally or anything like that. It might be "The Real You," but TMI!
- Try to keep the amount of pictures per post low. One or two per post, not 5,000. We don't want to see a flip-book capable series of shots of you changing the heads on a 350, one picture to show you working on the engine is plenty!
- Try to keep pictures limited to activities. Vacation pictures are great, but you standing in front of a monument is not showing us "The Real You" because everyone does that crap. Now, you fishing for catfish while visiting family in Tennessee would be a fine vacation picture!
- Have fun! This isn't a contest or a means to show off any particular thing, just a way to share who you are and what you do.

Here's a start, me eating a bagel for breakfast while surfing the net and watching DS9.

Now you show us "The Real You!"  :thumb:

Simply put the rules are:

1) Don't talk too much and
2) Make sure the picture is of you doing something.

They're just expanded more specifically to avoid the typical million questions I get in these types of threads.  Basically, if it's a picture you'd share on Facebook, share it here.  Just don't turn this into a dialogue thread.

Putting the handling holes in a die block.  Each block gets 4 and we have 2 blocks at the moment.
We usually don't sink the impression, but we handle all the prep.  Handling holes, match edges, shank, dowel hole, etc.

Looking good CBR, now she has to help you finish the swap right??

Here's my ugly mug(middle) and our shredped gang, Death Rattle. Our numbers may be low, but so are our standards!!

If there wasn't a week old photo rule I would be posting nothing but snowboarding.. Riding pretty much rules my life. Only a few of us are still talking about winter and counting down the days til the next rope drop(almost an even 200 days left). Here's a short from this past seasons final weekend. Our resort shutdown early and canceled the pond skim/spring festivities that we always whip together costumes for. Figured I'd still suit up and get a few last turns.

Brother Jibediah's last track - Enjoy;
