Thanks for the kind words. I guess it's time for another small update. I dropped off my tank and plastics to my friend who is a bodyman/painter by trade. I have a feeling it might be on the bottom of his to do list, but that's ok, I've still got plenty to do.
I'm thinking color wise I'm going to go with a root beer on the sides, and a emerald green on the top of the tank and follow that through to the tail section, with the front fender being green as well. I'm open to suggestions if anyone has any other ideas.

On to the engine, it's been quite the pain in the ass to be honest. It's just such a tedious job to try and get everything clean and free of old paint and grease and who knows what else, but it needs to be done so that's that I guess. I also cleaned up all of the casting lines, I think that's from my OCD of building scale models. It was a pain as well, but it will look good when it's painted. I also have seen this done before and always thought it was cool, drilling holes in the cooling fins. It might not be for everybody, but I like it.
I'll shut up and post pics now.

Fink, you do some of the most high-detail work I've ever seen..... congrats!

Once you get everything buttoned up and riding, those cooling fins might cause a "whistle" at speed. Just fyi.

Not a huge update, but I figured I would at least keep you fine people up to date. None of the engine guts are in but I mocked it up to get an idea.
