Long story short:

Went through a roundabout in 2. gear. As I go through it I lean more and more into the corner. I am too slow, and my angle increases and I start sliding.

As I was sliding I was already thinking "not this again" and hit the kill switch as I come to a stop.

Looks like the footpeg is bent ans scrapes against the chain cover. Also the Suzuki cover flew off but thats 10 bucks and easily replaceable.

Anything advice?

And yeah Im fine. Got a bruise on my hip but nothing to worry about.

Also whats up with that hole in the exhaust?

Is it there to drain water/condensation or should I seal it?

God damn it...

Sorry to hear you went down. Looks like you can just bend that foot peg bracket back in to position and like you said, that Suzuki logo is just a sticker.

Its part of riding a motorcycle, learn what you did wrong and try not to do it again.

That muffler hole is supposed to be there to let water drip out. Don't plug it up.

Thanks, Lucas. I was starting to get a headache.  :icon_mrgreen:

Practice your counter steering more with firm but small inputs?...

gain confidence with your entry exit speeds by practicing in a 'safe' area? Weekend in evening parking lot?

Relax your shoulders when you are riding/cornering/turning, muscle fatigue and tense gripping can add jerkiness to your moves,  road riding should be all Smoooooth flowing! ... even in an emergency stop or swerve,  the smoother your control inputs are the better!
