Had my first accident yesterday on the way home from work. riding through a green light intersection an SUV turned left right in front of me. Tried my best to slow and swerve to the left but wound up clipping her car and going down hard on my left side. Broken wrist and slightly separated shoulder both hurt a damn lot. Fortunately had 2 witnesses including an off duty officer in the adjacent little league field.

Ouch!  Could have been a lot worse!

How is the cycle?

front end is pretty pushed in, both fork tubes bent. smashed headlight, bent handlebar on the left side. I tried uploading pics, but I keep getting an attachment folder is full message.

Riding bikes reminds me of the the X-files...TRUST NO-ONE.  :nono:
That "attachment folder is full message" is MOST annoying and should be fixed....i use this but there are plenty of others:

That sounds terrible. Don't post any specific details on the internet and take your time figuring out everything that is wrong medically to make sure you are fully compensated.

Glad to hear you're okay. If only we had the roads all to ourselves...
