Mid corner wobble

Whenever I take a sweeper quickly (65+) my bike gets an oscillating wobble that's very unsettling. It's not tire pressure or wheel alignment, I just had the bike checked out at a shop for inspection. They recommend that I replace chain + sprockets because the chain is missing some o rings. Would that be enough to cause this? Thanks!

Replace the chain at least. Def'.
Is your front tyre worn more down the centre? That has been known to induce a corner wobble.

No, the tires are still relatively new (1k miles)

Steering head bearings nice and tight?

Could also be suspension related, especially if it tends to happen when the bike "sets into" the corner.  When's the last time fluid in the fork has been changed?

Too bad the front isn't adjustable but playing with the rear preload to get a more appropriate sag may be a step in the right direction.

1) I would remove the front wheel and test each fork separately to see if any is locking at some point (maybe take the opportunity to change fork oil,as Watcher have pointed .. too thin fork oil could lead .. or increase wobble probability)
2) I also suggest checking rear suspension to see if it is moving smoothly.
3) Check for play at the front and rear wheel bearing and at the steering bearings too!
4) this problem began after you changed tires? (if so maybe the "professional" that have changed it,  could screw something up)
5) Are you on the breaks when this wobble happens?

I think we have the same issue roughly at least. And I know its not my forks because they are BRAND NEWLY REBUILT. with .85 sonics.

I have two theory's, steering head bearing nut is loose.

or since I know its bad for mine, rear shock is GONE. [mine is just spring no damper atm.] when you shake the handlebars at 70mph+ the whole thing wants to go into a tank slapper for a sec and the front end feels floaty, after it wobbles and you think you're gonna die [I can do it for fun now... my SV was famous for giving me tank slappers out of hard corners] only last for a second then everything stiffens up like it should and feels tight again, only to reset if you say drop to 50mph then get back up to 70mph and shake the bars again.

Well if you don't watch much motorcycle racing you're not really familiar with what causes tank slap. the TL:DR version; The front wheel is traveling at a faster/slower rate than the rear wheel.

And since I'm pretty sure my rear wheel is just kinda bouncing around behind me due to the damper being shot, and only the spring doing all the work, that would make the rear wheel and front wheel travel at different rates

Check steering head nut tightness. its okay to tighten it, check it and if it feels stiff go ahead and untighten it back to where it was. then get on dem knees and check that rear shock..

Is your fork fluid at the correct level? Similar mid corner wobble would happen to me after my fork seals had been  leaking for long enough that the fluid level got real low.

How many miles are on the bike?

Worn out/blown rear shock is the likeliest culprit.
