Tina Boland / Dinah Drake on Arrow Season 5 Episode 11 rides up on a streetfighterish GS500 with some cafe looking seat in a parking garage scene right at the 30:00 mark in the show.

If the attachment works, here's a pic.

Now, before you judge me... this show is really not very good. But I row 10K every day on my indoor rower and I watch TV shows while I'm doing it. It's tough to find the right show that is mindless enough that I can be attentive to my technique, fast-paced enough to keep me from losing my split times too much, and abundant in episodes. For normal 22-24 episode TV shows like this I go through a season in less than a month, so over the past year I've watched two or three entire series like this. Running out of good stuff.

Anyway, see if you can spot the GS. They feature a lot of motorcycles on this show, mostly it's Oliver on his Ducati Monster and his various sidekicks on DR-Z400SMs. I've seen GS500s on other shows but mostly they are parked or in just random traffic scenes as background. First time I've seen one featured as a main character's ride.

Cool spot!

My Buell group is all over stuff like this.  Buells seem to be quite popular in media, I guess from their unique appearance.  :dunno_black:

I actually caught it when they showed her riding up on it, could only see the handlebar, gauges, top of the headlight. Can't mistake those gauges! Then the side view shot made it obvious.

Sweet.  I wonder who's bike it is,....

I'd have to guess the studio has a pool of vehicles and they just grabbed one that had the look they wanted and would fit a 125 lb actress. The Ducatis are signature Arrow/Oliver bikes, DRZs are signature sidekick bikes (and BTW with the very high seat I see why they never show Thea on one, my guess is her stunt double is several inches taller). It is a pretty ordinary "cafe" mod GS500 with chopped rear end, no rear fender, flat "brat" seat and short exhaust.

Cool find, I may have watched that show at random but yea that Ducati Diavel is the most used one. And Dr-Z's are second most used.
Cool.

In the first season Oliver, as not the arrow, rides a diavel. Later on Arrow rides a Monster and the diavel kind of goes away because Oliver doesn't really ride and they are no longer trying to show us he's a rich play boy. But i do wonder how Oliver and John and all of them pay their bills, including what must be a big seven figure price tag on the high tech hideout. But that's not even close to the most ridiculous unbelievable junk on this show. But I'll watch the rest of it while the virtual meters flow by and then move on to other dumb shows like flash and legends of tomorrow and expanse and whatever else.

There is a GS500 with bent forks and frame being worked on in one scene ofnTerry Gilliam's recent film, "The Man Who Killed Don Quixote." I wish I had snapped a photo.
Not a TV show and not shown in motion but still exciting. There are some scenes with Adam Driver riding around on a BMW GS.
